POV: Seth

I couldn't sleep.

It sounds stupid, because it is.

I know I know, it was just a little kiss, on the cheek too, but it was the first time a girl has done that to me.

I'm probably thinking about this too much. It wasn't a big thing, only lasted half a second, but still. I didn't even answer her confession yet!!!

Whatever, I need to get ready. Luna doesn't need a ride today so I get to leave right away.

POV: Narrator

Seth gets out of his car and locks it.

Seth: Looks like I'm early. Usually I have to drag Luna with me so I guess I was faster today. Whatever.

He walks to school and gets to his locker.

Seth: Maybe I should have waited. Let's see. 1. . . 2. . . 3 . . . Nope. I can look up how to pick a lock.

Patty: Hiya!! What's up Seth!?

Seth: Oh hey you're here too.

Patty: Yeah, I had to finish a test this morning so I got here early.

Seth: Nice. How did you do.

Patty: Ehehe, don't know, probably not too good. History is hard.

Seth: You must have 6th period History. I heard they had a test.

Patty: Yup. It's not fun.

Seth: We did a project instead. Kinda wish we did a test though.

Patty: I would have been glad to let you do mine.

Seth: I said I'd rather a test, I wouldn't willingly do it.

Patty: Well anyways, what ya doing?

Seth: Trying to open the lock.

Patty: Oh did you forget your code?

Seth: Yeah. Usually Tyler would do it for me but I got here early myself so he's not here.

Patty: You should have written it down somewhere. Like in your handbook.

Seth: That would be smart wouldn't it.

Tyler: Need help there?

Seth: Oh yeah. Thanks.

Tyler: Did you take Luna today?

Seth: No that's why I'm early.

Tyler: Oh I see.

Patty: Hi there.

Tyler: OH, hey. Patty Goldsmont right?

Patty: Yup!

Tyler: 10. . . 25. . . 20.

Seth Thank you.

Patty: Wow your locker's neat.

Seth: Yours isn't?

Patty: Usually something falls when I open it.

Seth: Err.

Tyler: I can relate.

Seth: No I like to not have wrinkled stuff.

Patty: Oh it's not that bad. Just put it between two books and it's good to go.

Tyler: Yeah she knows.

Seth: That's not good.

Tyler: Well I'll see you guys later.
