ASHTONS POV
A bright light shines on my face.
Where am I?
What's going on?
Shakily I stand up looking around.
It looks like I'm on clouds?
"Ashton." I flinch looking around.
Everything looks white.
"H-hello?" A figure from afar starts to come into view.
"Ashton, it's not your time. You need to go back.." The voice sounds like a girl voice....
The voice is awfully familiar.
"W-who are you?"
The figure finally comes to view.
A beautiful girl in a white spaghetti strap dress with long curly brown hair looks at me. She's barefoot, but beautiful.
My jaw drops, no way.
"Jane? Is that you?!" I manage to get out.
The girl nods, "Yes, it's me Ashton."
I run up to her and pull her into the biggest hug.
Jane was my only best friend all through elementary and middle school.
But in our freshman year, she got raped, then later killed herself.
Wait, how can I see her if she's dead?
"Where am I?" I ask.
Jane holds both of my now scarless hands, "It's not your time Ash, you need to go back."
My eyes widen in realization, "Wait, this is H-Heaven?" She nods. "Yes, but that's not the point. You have people back home who love you. Especially that Luke boy, he loves you Ash. You need to go back."
I frown, "But I wanted to die, that's why I'm here."
Jane shakes her head letting go of my hands. "Please, go back. You have a life ahead of you. Things will get better I promise."
"B-but how do I go back?" Tears form in my eyes, I don't want to lose Jane again.
"You just have to believe Ash. Think about Luke. And don't let him go, he's a good one." She pecks my cheek then starts to fade away.
"Wake up Ash."
And so I did.
