Heyooo

Enjoy~

(y/n)'s POV

"Yeah, come on out into the common room so we can do nails," Mina said, her head poked through the doorway of my room.

I set down my journal, getting up and putting on shoes that I could wear to go downstairs. Mina liked to walk around in slippers or socks, but I just felt so odd entering the elevator without shoes. I followed her downstairs, seeing that she was holding a white basket with several bottles of nail polish. She led the way down to where her group was sitting, which comprised of Jirou, Denki, Sero, Kirishima, Bakugo, and Momo.

"Alright, it's nail time," Mina said, sitting herself on top of Bakugo's lap to keep him from running away.

"Get off me you pink bitch," he said, shoving her.

"AYE I'm gonna drop it if you shove me," she said, gesturing to the basket of polishes. She had a lot of colors and while I was not unfamiliar with painting my nails, I was not allowed to pick bright or dark colors. Usually they would be a see-through pink or beige kind of color and my mother would do them, only to become frustrated with the fact I squirmed too much.

"That's the fucking point, get off," he growled and she sunk to the floor with a solid thunk, to which she glared at the blonde.

"I want black," Denki stated, "But the 4th ones should be yellow."

He laid forward onto his stomach in front of Mina who just rolled her eyes. Momo let Jirou paint her nails, even if it was a little messy. Jirou was not the most gifted art wise as she was music wise. Her steady guitar hands didn't seem to transfer over to nail polish. Sero slunk down from the couch to sit beside me, leaning back on his hands.

"You know how to paint nails?" he asked. I nodded and he leaned forward to pick out a navy blue color. "Mind painting mine?"

"Okay," I stated, taking the bottle from him. I opened it up and he held out his hand to me. I did fidget as a child, but I had a very steady hand. It was from the consistent reading and writing I did, as well as doodling in a secret notebook I kept under my bed. I took Sero's hand, fingers pinching his thumb nail. "You have very nice hands."

"Thanks, my mom makes sure me and my siblings are always clean and moisturized, it's a strange thing about her," he said.

"She must be nice."

"Best mom in the whole world, at least that's my opinion," he said giving me a smile. He had very symmetrical features, clean cut and the straightest teeth I had ever seen. Sero seemed like a very sweet, genuine guy, and from the sound of it he had been raised well by his mother. He looked down to his hands. "Woah, that's really nice."

"Oh, thanks," I stated, dipping the brush back into the bottle. I paused, putting the lengths of my hair behind my shoulders. Despite the connotations of my quirk, I was a very clean person and so was my mother. She was sure to take well care of the environment and at the very least keep me clean. She despised the fact she could never get the bar clean enough, so that translated to our upstairs dwelling and me. My hair was always sleek and fixed, I had never had it curled for any occasion. I was never allowed food in my room and I had to clean up after ever meal, as thoroughly as possible.

Now that I thought about it, there was no way she hadn't found the sloppily hidden doodle book under my bed. Perhaps she had just left it alone.

I switched to Sero's other hand, dipping the brush in the polish and slicking it over each nail. I glanced over as I started a second precautionary coat, seeing that Bakugo was reluctantly putting red over Kirishima's finger nails.
