Zara's pov

It's been 2 weeks since the night we went bowling, I babysat Mia a handful of times, Enzo and I text sometimes but it's mostly him checking in on Mia and a tiny bit of small talk

I guess he doesn't like me? I'm not sure

Ava has not told me what happened when she and Matt had their basketball date...though Ava swears it wasn't a date

But she won't tell me anything about it, Like hello she's my best friend WHAT GIVES??! What I do know is she lost the game they played

So of-course since I am noisy I am calling Enzo to get Matteo's number so I can meet with him and get the tea on what happened

* call with Enzo*

Enzo: hey zar what's up?

Zara: nothing much, I did have a little favor to ask you

Enzo: anything

Anything? Mhm me likey the sound of that UGH ZARA STOP FOCUS

Zara: I was wondering if you could give me Matteo's number, Ava won't tell me what happened on their little basketball date and I NEED to know!

Enzo: *laughs* sure thing I'll text it to you

Zara: THANK YOU!

Enzo: I am going to meet him for coffee in about an hour you can join and ask him then if you want

Zara: that's perfect! Thank you so much enz

Shit...I just said Enz oh well hope he doesn't mind nicknames? Meh I don't care if he doesn't like it, I LOVE a good nickname

Enzo: alright I'll pick you up soon then, bye muffin

Well looks like I'm getting the tea!!

I quickly put on a boring outfit

Enzo is texting me that he's here

The cafe we're going to is about 15 minutes away so I decided to ask him something I have been wondering

"Can I ask you something, if it isn't too personal?" I ask hesitantly

"Sure," he says

"What happened to Mia's mom?"
