Zaras Pov

Today Enzo told me before I left for work he's in the mood to learn how to make some of the muffins his "muffin" makes him

I rolled my eyes at him but in reality, my stomach was filled with butterflies

So after he finishes work he's gonna head over here since I should already be done with work by then

I'm done with my shift when Enzo walks in, Ava is still here cleaning up and whatnot while everyone else has clocked out for the day

I walk up and hug him

"Hi, ready to make some muffins" I smile up at him
when I separate from the hug

"yes, Good thing I have a great teacher" he smiles

I blush

We're now In the back, trying to make muffins...keyword is trying because Enzo is more interested in putting the flour on my face...

"Excuse you!" I say

"What I did nothing" he smirks

I take some flour and put it on his face and smile

He kind of looks cute with flour all over his face

"your gonna regret that," he says in a playful tone

"Am I now?" I say

He hums in response and then puts more flour on my face

"HEY" I say

While grabbing flour and putting more on him

And then that turns into me running around the workstation we were at, running away from him as he chases me covering me with flour

We both laughed and covered in flour

And one point I'm up against the pantry door, with Enzo caging me in

We're both insanely close

He inches foreword

HOLY CRAP, Are we about to kiss

We are both inches away from each other and then merely a centimeter away

Our lips about to connect

"HEY ZARA, I'm clocking out for the day I finished with everything I needed to d- OH UMM WOOPS sorry for interrupting..." she says flustered

Well shit thanks a lot Ava perfect flipping timing on your part

We both step away from each other awkwardly

"It's fine" I clear my throat "I was just reaching Enzo how to make muffins" I laugh a little looking at the flour all over us

"AHHH...ya I can see that, I don't remember it using that much flour but okay" she laughs looking at the flour all over us

"Anywho...goodnight guys enjoy making your muffins" she laughs

And then smirks and wiggles her eyebrows when Enzo's looking away

Really Ava...there will be no wiggling of the eyebrows seeing as you ruined the moment completely

"Goodnight," I say

"Night Ava," Enzo says

Right now this is awkward...we literally almost just kissed

The hell do we do now? Act like it didn't happen? Do I go and just do it already
