Chapter 32: Behind the Scenes

I stand at the gate frozen in my position. I suddenly got extremely nervous to go on set with Lizzie. She grabs my hand sensing my nervousness.

"You're going to be fine," she says and smiles. I let out the breath I was holding and walk behind her still holding hands.

Scarlett walks ahead of us once she sees some of the cast. We take our time following behind and I look over at Lizzie after she squeezes my hand. Once we arrive next to the group of people with Scarlett Lizzie's face lights up and she lets go of my hand to hug all her friends.

Once she is done saying hello she turns back to me and pulls me towards everyone.

"Who's your friend Liz?" Chris asks and points to me.

"This is my girlfriend y/n!" Lizzie says pulling me closer and making eye contact with me.

I give her a smile letting her know I am ok and we both look back at the group.

"That's great Lizzie! It's nice to meet you y/n!" He says holding out his hand. I shake it and he raises his eyebrow.

"She's a strong one isn't she?" He jokes with Lizzie and she punches his arm making me giggle.

"So you're the one Lizzie's been talking about!" Sebastian says and I look over at Lizzie surprised to hear she's been talking about me.

"I guess it would," I shake his hand and he pulls me in for a hug.

"Sorry, I'm a hugger. You will get used to it,"

I talk to a few others before Lizzie and Scarlett walk me to their trailer so they can get ready.

I watch as the makeup artist and hairstylist do their magic even though they don't really need to do anything. Lizzie and Scarlett are naturally beautiful but I guess the makeup just helps their features stand out on camera.

Once they are finished Lizzie kisses me goodbye while she leaves to go film. I'm not allowed to go with her because the things she is filming today are too secret so I can't watch them. She told me there are a few scenes after lunch that I can observe which I am excited to see.

While she's gone I listen to some music but get bored pretty fast. Her trailer isn't very big so there's not much to do. I decide to go for a walk around the areas that I am allowed because I don't want to get in trouble.

I follow along a little path that leads to all the different sets for each film. I'm not sure which one Lizzie is in right now but it must be around here somewhere. I watch a bunch of people exit one of the sets and can see a few of her cast members. Intrigued, I walk over to them and go inside the building.

Inside is a huge green screen with a couple of cars and a few other props scattered around. I guess they were filming a stunt driving scene or something?

I walk around in there for a while checking everything out to get a better idea of what goes on behind the scenes of these movies.

After watching an action scene being filmed by people I am unfamiliar with, I make my way back to the trailer.

"Hey! I was wondering where you went!" Lizzie greets me as I open the door. She runs over and wraps her arms around me pulling me in by the waist for a kiss.

"I missed you," she whispers to me and smiles.

"I assume filming went well this morning?" I ask and she nods.

"Oh and I missed you too," I say and kiss her on the forehead making her blush.

"Ok enough you too. Save it for at home! So where did you go y/n?" Scarlett asks and I look around trying to see where the voice is coming from.
