Nerium padded along with FrostLights, her tail tip flicking with annoyance. Her whole goal was to sneak into the tribe to find a possible LifeBlood or kit to steal. She didn't intend on getting mixed up with their problems. She was only there on BloodPredator terms. Her head lifted to see the familiar forest of "home." She took a whiff of the air and felt at ease when the scent of her fellow cult members was stale. I'm glad they moved again after the last incident. She thought. Up ahead of her, she caught the movements of the God of Chaos. His head was hung low with his tail practically dragging on the earth. Her eyes slitted, giving him a cold glare. What a pushover. So much for the title of "god." The god that was leading them: Moht, had stopped, raising her tail. The whole group paused and gave her fearful and questioning looks. She seemed wary of the BloodPredator's absence, but her fur still stood on end. Her head turned as if she was searching for something.....or some one. What are you up to. Nerium let out a low growl. A nearby FrostWalker nudged her, "What are you doing? Don't growl at our new gods!" "Sorry," She mewed "bashfully." "It may not be ideal, but we have to keep the peace. Even if it means following the deity of our enemies." Dear Sinister these cats are all pacifists! They couldn't do anything to save themselves! She begrudgingly nodded to her fellow "tribe mate." After a minute, they had moved along again. The two gods were talking to each other, but she couldn't hear them from her spot. Night had fallen and they were still moving. Her tail lashed at the sounds of her companions complaining. She wanted to lash out at them, but if she did there might be a small chance of blowing her cover....and angering the gods. Luckily, she didn't have to. Moht whipped around and beat her to it. "Oh shut up! I come to your camp and save you and what do I get in return? A whole tribe of useless cats who do nothing but complain!" Everyone hushed, even the Snowflakes. The BloodPredator noticed Bliz flinch. Her folded ears perked up as much as they could to listen in to the Chaos God talking to his friend. "I..." He hesitated, "I don't mean to question you Moht. I trust your judgement, I really do, but look at them. They're exhausted....N-Not that I care or anything!" Though she didn't outright do it, Nerium could see the lion-like she internally rolling her eyes. They were led to a small glade at the base of the mountain where they would settle down for the next few hours. The FrostLights quickly gathered materials and set up temporary nests. The Prophetess parted her mouth and took a breath in. We're close. Their scent is still fresh. She thought to herself in delight. When we finally find them, I can sneak off- Her thoughts were cut off when a fluffy, light blue SnowFlake with curled ears and a navy blue tail bumped into her. The contact sent chills throughout her body. It was as if the kit was made of ice. Wait. A voice said in her head. That's Nieves, the half sister of Ice'Deer. She gave the kit a warm smile and helped her up, watching her scamper off. Half sister? This little kit shares Ice'Deer's father, but he won't say anything. He was two timing his mate with another molly who died shortly after giving birth. If I'm not mistaken, she should have the same powers as her sister thanks to her father- Which means that she's the next successor... Right. Another voice said, finishing with a commanding tone, Take her back with you. Hold on. I have something to do first... Her eyes locked onto the amber wearing goddess. She slowly crept towards her seeing that she was all alone. She moved into the shadows, rubbing up against some foul smelling fungi. She waited patiently for the clearing to go silent. Moht was visited occasionally by Bliz, but he was always dismissed and told to go to sleep. It was strange. The tan molly was still awake even though everyone else was in their nests. Is she waiting for someone...? Nevermind. This just gives me an opportunity. She leapt from her spot with claws unsheathed. She landed onto the goddess' back and held on. The surprised she attempted to buck and knock her off, but her grip was firm. With a smirk, she sunk her teeth into her prey's shoulder. Moht yowled in pain and finally got her attacker off along with a chunk of flesh. By the time she turned around to see who the traitor was, Nerium was gone. Bliz rushed towards his motherly figure to check up on her. He noticed her shoulder was bleeding, but he dared not touch it. "Find that traitor and kill them," Her voice was calm, but there were traces of anger lying beneath. The God of Chaos nodded and went to wake up the cats. Among them was the BloodPredator, but she didn't say anything. She acted surprised and afraid just like everyone else. No one suspected a thing. The violet eyed tom placed an accusation on a FrostWalker. The other FrostLights crowded around them to watch and so did Nerium. Her leg went cold all of a sudden. She turned her head down to see little Nieves right up against her. She then remembered what her Saviours had said. Heh, I might have been unsuccessful in killing that god, but a new addition to the cult will make up for it. Especially one of this kind. "Hey Nieves," She mewed playfully. "Huh?" "Do you want to come with me to a safe place? I already asked your mother and she said yes. Besides, it'll be quite the adventure~" The kit's eyes lit up and she bounced up and down and nodded her head excitedly. "Good, but we have to be quiet, ok?" Nieves blinked in understanding. Nerium grabbed her scruff and got out of there. As she ran further away, she could hear in the distance the screams of an innocent cat being executed. Her lips formed a sick smile as she said a silent prayer to The Holy Ones, thanking them for this special TwistedInnocent that she would gladly raise herself in their name.
