A Fated Encounter

"Here" Rain said putting her jacket over Ray's back

"You're shivering but Ray, do you remember anything at all?" Rain asked

"U-um" Ray said trying his best to remember something

"I was in a car before waking up here" Ray said uncertainty

"A car? what's that?" Rain asked

"I don't remember" Ray said as he thought about it hard

"It's ok you don't need to remember anything" rain said patting Ray's back comfortingly

"Don't worry I'll get us out of here" Rain said with a determined look on her face

She took out a necklace from under her shirt and pressed it as she pressed it a second time it began to glow.

"Help is on the way" Rain said smiling

A few hours later people calmed down and most were back to sleeping. Rain had tried opening the door but nothing she tried worked, though she left a nice dent on it. Rain woke up as she heard a sound coming from the door. She woke Ray up as she watched it open.

"WAKE UP" A man screamed into the room

People woke up startled

"GET UP AND FOLLOW ME" The man screamed

People slowly begin to get up and follow him. This was easy since they were all confused, scared, and wanted to get out of the room

Rain grabbed Ray's hand as she followed the other's example. They were all taken to a room, the room had an overwhelming sweet and perfuming scent, it had yellowing walls and had lots of clothing, makeup, and accessories scattered throughout the room.

"Dress them up and make them look nice for their new masters" The man that led them here said a wicked grin on his face showing of his blacking teeth

"Of course" the women said as she looked at the man in disgust

The man walked out of the room

"Me and my ladies will be taking care of you today, don't make this harder than it is"The lady said as she pointed the girls to the people in the room

"Oo a pretty one, make sure her beauty is enhanced. Don't want it to go to waste now do we" The lady said looking at Rain

A few of the ladies gathered around Rain giving her a gown that was a beautiful white color with gold accents. Rain put the dress on and after they put some makeup and accessories on her enhancing her beautiful features.

They also dressed Ray up in a loose white shirt and black pants. They got through the other's relatively quickly, the ones who struggled were quickly stopped by the threats of the lady. 30 minutes passed by as the ladies got everyone in the room looking nice. Some were crying but were forced to stop since it would ruin their look.

Then after they were led backstage as each one of them was shown off to everyone.

"Their getting sold off" Rain said horrified

"Are we going to get sold off too?" Ray asked

"Not if I can help it"

It was soon Ray's turn, Rain grabbed Ray's hand refusing to let on. Seeing that none of the threats worked against Rain they just let her and Ray go together.

As they walked on stage together, a man was speaking about their features. Then prices were called as they kept getting higher and higher. A man came up on stage, no one stopped him. He went up and started touching Ray, Ray shrinked back afraid. Rain, seeing this, was furious and pulled Ray Behind her back .

"Get out of my way I have no interest towards you" the man said pushing Rain out of his way

"No stop it" Ray said as he pushed the man away and went towards Rain

"Does a mere human think he has a choice?" The man laughed revealing a pair of fangs and sharp nails. No one seemed surprised as the man leaped towards Ray.

"Vampire" Rain whispered before snapping out of it and stabbing the vampire with a silver knife. This caused chaos to erupt as people ran around and others tried to attack Rain. Ray was pushed into a corner to hide in by Rain

"STOP" A man yelled, as everyone in the room came to a stop.

"Your majesty" a vampire said as they bowed down, the others followed in example.

"What an interesting human, killing so many vampires you must be a hunter" Felix (vampire king) said coming towards Rain

Rain looked surprised at the vampires that were kneeling and backed away as Felix came closer to her

"You vampires keep trying to hurt innocent people and it is my right to protect them from you. Vampires aren't humans and are cruel and merciless after all" Rain said though she did look slightly guilty

"Ha, is that what you think? Well it doesn't really matter what you think" Felix said

"She'll be coming with me" Felix said grabbing Rain's hand as he pulled her away

"No I won't" Rain said struggling

"You have no choice" Felix says amused by Rain's struggling

"Fine but I want someone to come with me" Rain says giving up struggling

"Oh?" Felix said interested his hold on Rain lessening

Rain pulled away and went to get Ray, pulling Ray behind her as she walked towards the vampire king.

"MIKA?" A female voice said through the crowd.

Alice (vampire queen) came out of the crowd as she went near Ray and hugged him closely. Everyone froze surprised at what just happened.

"Mika? Is that you? I'm sorry for leaving you all alone Mika, I'm sorry I couldn't bring you your pudding back" Alice said as she wept

"Sis?" Ray/ Mika said uncertainty

"It really is you" Alice said continuing to cry

Mika looked confused as tears began to slide down his face. He froze for a moment before collapsing into Alice who was hugging him.

"MIKA/RAY" Rain and Alice cried out at the same time

Hello! How are you all? I hope you all are doing great! This is an early update since I had some time! This chapter had a lot of things fit into it so hopefully it wasn't too crowded. Anyways I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter!
