Damian watched as his Angel seemed to become more disheartened as they talked. He knew the distance wasn't the problem. There was something she wasn't telling him. Marinette's smile wasn't as bright as before; some days, it was barely there. He couldn't stand to see her like that. A trip was in order.

No one in the Wayne household knew what was bothering Damian. He was becoming hostile. He was shoving them out of the way, when ever he was going towards his room. None of them wanted to bother him while he was in there. Maybe he just needed a nap? When he told them he was taking a trip to Paris, they immediately agreed. Hopefully, whatever was in Paris, would lift his mood.

When Damian arrived to Marinette's school, the last thing he expected was to hear her being called names and pushed around.

'This is why she's been so upset! She's getting bullied!'

Damian Wayne saw red as he marched his way over, shoving and throwing people aside, as he made his way to his girlfriend.

"Who do you think you are?" shouted Alya, getting up from the floor.

"Damian Wayne." he growled out, "And I think I'm Marinette's boyfriend!"

"Dami." she whispered, looking up at him.

The Wayne heir pulled her into his arms and held her tight.

"I suggest you all stay the fuck away from her. It wouldn't take long to call the mayor and have him grant me access to the surveillance cameras at the school or Paris. I can easily sue all of you." he declared.

"You don't have do all that for me." Marinette spoke.

"Habibiti, you never have to face them alone." he answered, "I'll always be on your side."

Mari buried her face into his chest, finally feeling a sense of relief. Her moment of peace was broken when Lila began to put on the same old act and brought out the crocodile tears.

"Listen here, Bitch!" he demanded, tired of her theatrics, "I deal with psychopaths, who attempt to kidnap me, daily. I have had people attempt to murder me. Serving you a lawsuit, that will end with you behind bars, either in jail or a mental ward, will be nothing but a footnote in my legacy."

Damian grabbed Marinette's hand and pulls her against his frame.

"And with her by my side, as my wife, you'll never stand a chance." Damian concluded, glaring at the annoying brunette.

Marinette felt her cheeks flame red. She was too busy repeating 'wife' in her head to notice everyone's jaws drop.

"Y-Your wife?" Marinette stuttered out in shock, looking up at him.

Damian finally realized what he spoke and looked away from her curious gaze.

'I can't believe I said that! We haven't discussed out intentions for the future, as of yet. I hope I haven't dissuaded her from staying by my side longer.'

"Do you mean that, Damian?" Mari questioned.

'What if he didn't mean it? What if he was just pushing Lila's buttons? Maybe he doesn't think I'm good enough.'

Damian cleared his throat and turned his gaze upon his cute girlfriend. Her big blue eyes, bore into him, as she awaited his answer. He could see the silent plea in them and smiled softly at her.

"I do, Habibiti." he answered.

Marinette smiled, as she stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek.

"I like the sound of that future." she mumbled, softly.

"Anything to bring a smile to that face of yours, Angel." Damian stated and turned to glare at them once more, "I suggest you head my warning. I don't play well with others.", as he grabbed her hand and led them away from the annoying bunch.
