Soooo, I took this book down for a few weeks because of the misogynistic comments. If you're a new reader who somehow found this and chooses to read it, here's an exercise:
- Try to give women at least a fraction of the empathy/grace you show the toxic men in the majority of books on this site.Also some reminders: Vulnerability is a sign of strength. The "strong Black woman" trope does more harm than good. Black women are allowed to be soft and gentle and kind and caring.
Finally, I do this for free. I have no problem muting people. 🤷🏽♀️
