STRENGTHS: fyre energy manipulation: affected with theadora's energy that channeled through the dragon egg as a medium, bex's DNA is rewritten to house fyre energy. she is granted the powers to manipulate fyre energy and bend it to her will.
fyre energy projection: the energy can be expelled from her body in various forms: blasts, shields, projected from her hands for flight, etc. her energy may be used in conjunction with thea's parent magic to create a stronger offensive or defensive projection.
magic: though limited, bex has the ability to cast a number of small-scale spells including teleportation and transmutation. her magical code enables thea to channel dragofyre through her, even in different locations.
flight: through her powers, bex can push herself up in the air by projecting her energy through her hands/feet.

WEAKNESSES: limited powers: because bex's powers are an extension of theadora's, she can only perform them to a certain extent before wearing herself out. her powers seem to not contain the full extent of magic compared to her best friend.
fyre instability: due to the nature of her energy and the incomplete rewriting of her DNA, bex often has trouble maintaining her powers for sustained time. she can also experience physical pain when she is emotional although it is remedied by a transfusion of thea's magic.
her father: much of bex's trauma stems from the sudden departure of her father who wasn't comfortable with her sexuality. while her mother and late grandmother tried their best to be there for her, it's been a scar that bex has never been able to recover from.
over-reliance: due to her father's abandonment, bex has acquired an extreme desire for company and dependence, especially on her best friend thea who was a constant in her life in the three years they have been together. this is the main reason for her rivalry with peter parker as she is jealous of his profound effect on thea and her life. bex is also insecure of her own abilities and individual power.
