themes: love, intimacy, acceptance
i know that he knows
the way my body melts into his
a final crumbling of stone
that built an empire on itself
i try to keep my secret
perhaps the lingering of pride
but he knows me too well
for he's studied me long and deep
he'll call my bluff long before
i have the chance to play my cards
i wish i could say i hate it
but my soul has craved this for too long
to be known so far and wide
i don't have to utter a single word
he kisses them right off my tongue
and keeps them safe until nightfall
