''Jacky, you can do it!'' Alice cheered with an energetic expression.
Rosalie and Emmett cracked their necks.
Jasper was the one at serving, while Rosalie and Emmett were some distance away from him.
Carlisle was standing behind Jack, ready to catch the ball if Jack misses.
Edythe and Edward was standing next to Alice.
Jack used the bat and tapped the ground few times, then he put the bat into a swinging stance and started concentrating.
Jasper took a deep breath and went into his serving stance.
It was slightly different from Alice's.
He turned his body sideways, did a larger swing, and threw it with greater speed.
Jack only watched as the blur went past his face.
''Eh?'' Jack said dumbly.
*Bam*
Carlisle caught the ball effortlessly.
''First miss,'' Bella said, she was amazed because she couldn't see the ball at all, and she was sure that it was impossible for Jack to hit the ball.
'That was faster than I thought...' Jack was sweatdropping.
''Jacky, you can do it!'' Alice didn't stop cheering even once.
Emmett grinned and puffed his chest.
Carlisle threw the ball back to Jasper, who caught it with ease.
Jasper smiled slightly and went into his serving stance.
*SWOOSH*
The ball flew towards Jack like cannon.
Jack swung the bat.
But... The ball slightly missed the bat.
*Bam*
Carlisle caught the ball once again.
''Argh...'' Jack grimaced.
''Second miss.'' Bella said and thought, 'I can't even see the ball... It's not possible for humans to play against vampires...'
Alice looked anxious, but she never stopped believing in Jack's capabilities.
Jack went into a swinging stance once again.
Carlisle threw the ball back to Jasper.
Jasper caught it and went into his serving stance.
''Whew...'' Jack breathed deeply.
He grabbed the bat tighter.
Small flames were seen flickering in his eyes.
*SWOOSH*
The ball left Jasper's hand once again, and this time it was even faster!
Jack gritted his teeth and swung the bat once again.
*BAM*
The ball hit perfectly with the bat. Small sparks were seen once the two objects collided.
*SWOOSH*
The ball went straight towards the sky.
Jasper looked surprised.
Jack already dropped the bat and started running towards first base.
Bella looked at the ball flying towards the forest, 'It was a good hit... But, Emmett will make in time...'
Emmett was already running towards the forest.
