"This is where you will be staying from now on." Pepper Stark stands in the opening of the door and signals inside. Daisy clutches the handle of her suitcase tightly. Tony was standing a few steps away from her with baby Morgan in his arms. "There is a bathroom attached to your room over there with an infra red rain shower, an automatic sink and whatever other gadgets Tony likes to include in his bathroom furniture."
Daisy throws an apprehensive look at her new boss. He shrugs his shoulders as much as possible with Morgan in his arms. "I like practical things." Pepper raises an eyebrow at her husband. She crosses her arms in front of her white dress. Her face showed obvious signs of displeasure and bad memories. "Since when is having two different faucets in the sink so one can have an automatic soap dispenser so much more practical than having one faucet and a separate bottle of handsoap?" Tony throws her a wronged look, as if he was offended by the question. He gasps audibly, though Daisy was sure most of his reaction was acted. "Do you know how much time it takes to wash your hands that way?" Pepper glares at him. "Do you know how disgusting the taste of soap in your mouth is because you got the wrong faucet for a glass of water again?"
Daisy got to know quickly after signing her contract that Tony and Pepper could argue a lot, but that they love each other dearly. The two Starks allowed her to settle in her own room and gave her directions to the common areas of the compound. They agreed to meet in two hours in the living room, where Daisy would be introduced to the other members of this unique household. Tony and Pepper left her to sort herself out and close the door behind them. Daisy takes a deep breath and looks around the room in awe. It was truly beautiful. The style was very modern, which she had expected.
She put her suitcase on the bed and clicks it open. Most of the two hours she spent sorting her clothes in the gigantic walk-in wardrobe that she could not even fill for a quarter and putting her little trinkets and decorations here and there in the room. She had about twenty minutes left, which she used to freshen up and brush her curly hair.
After she was finished, she left her bedroom. But then Daisy realised that she hasn't memorised the way towards the living room. She was trying to figure out from where she came in this maze of hallways and doors when something scared her half to death. All of a sudden a voice booms through the hall, but Daisy couldn't find a face to the voice. "Miss Becker, Mr. Stark asked me to remind you that you are requested in the living room. I am uploading the route to your mobile device." The voice was robotic in a way. Daisy's heart was still beating too fast as her eyes flash side to side.
