Another critique day came, and the girl was just as worried about how her peers would respond as she walked her drawing to the presenting table. She had snuck up quickly in hopes that no one would see her and know which piece was hers.

As time ticked by, her nerves died down, thinking that there wasn't enough time for anyone to bring her art to attention. Then in the last five or so minutes, a peer motioned towards her drawing with words the girl with pale eyes didn't want to hear.

Her peer spoke about her work quickly, leaving the girl squirming slightly in her chair. Then the teacher asked if anyone else had words to say. The girl glanced around the room quickly, with eyed a bit widened, when the boy with forever rose dyed cheeks, raised his hand. He spoke with only flattery for her piece. And as his did, his eyes were trained right on her, when no one had announced that it was hers.
