Xingqiu took notes on his maths book, highlighting certain words, numbers, phrases and more. He opened a bag of sour candies, only eating the green ones. He sighed and leaned back on his chair, turing his phone on. It was only 15 minutes since he messaged ice.

He turned on Spotify and played the song 'oh yeah, you gonna cry?' This song was performed by xinyan and Barbara, they had recently collabed due to xinyans good music writing and barbaras voice. He hummed to the melody and shut his eyes, not looking at the paper anymore.

He quickly got mesmerised by the melody, someone knocked on his door and he stumbled to turn the music off "yeah?" He asked, spinning around in his chair "hello xingqiu! Your mom said I could come round to help with homework!" Xiangling hopped into his room, shutting his door quietly "has he messaged?" She grinned

"Heh, only a little." Xingqiu turned on his phone "what did he say!?" Xiangilng sort-of yelled then grabbed his phone "you spoke to an IDOL about books!? Wait.. YOU PROMOTED YOUSELF TO AN IDOL!?" she handed his phone back "hey! Its not self promo its... good marketing.." xingqiu laughed, "hey, he posted to insta again" he smiled and checked his posts

It was basically just an image of a book taped to the ceiling, chongyun had a thumbs up, the caption was 'just read this book, 10/10 called the art of sword author is xingqiu but idk the last name to busy taping it to the ceiling.' Xingqiu showed it to xiangling "how did he get it so fast!?" She gasped  "maybe he already had it!"

Xingqiu rolled his eyes "of course he already had it! I'm amazing at writing" he grinned "hm? Hold on he messaged again" xingqiu lay on his bed, xiangling sat on his chair and faced him

Xingqiu looked up at xiangling "whats that look for?" She laughed awkwardly "nothing.. he might tell me his name!" He smiled and sat up "what!! If he does don't tell anyone! Thats how you lose trust" he crossed her arms proudly

"Yeah, no shit. Id not do that unless he said I could, he responded!" Xingqiu stared at his phone
