Randomness

People on the Octopod do a lot of things randomly just because they can.

The kids, Kwazii, Peso, Tweak, Dashi, and Shellington sing Hamilton songs so many times the Captain's getting a little sick of it.

They all take turns playing different roles, they usually let Pinto or Kwazii be Laurens. Usually, everyone lets Shellington be Hamilton cos they think that his accent sounds really cool.

Kwazii is VERY good at yelling random things that make no sense out loud. Once when Kwazii was listening to some guy talk about how cats were superior to all other species with Tweak on TV, he started yelling a bunch of random insults at the TV, and if you to walk in, you'd see a cuckoo cat yelling funny insults at another cat going on and on about how dogs are dirty rabble and all that.

Tweak got secondhand embarrassment simply from witnessing this.

The Vegimals will randomly decide that you need love, and will just run up to you with a snack, hug you around the knees, and tell you they "wuv you" and kiss you all over.

Tweak and Kwazii will randomly start fighting for no reason. Whenever either of them can think of a reason to fight, they will. When they fight, everyone leaves the room until they can't hear them screaming at each other.

Inkling loves to randomly give homework during breaks. The kids hate him for it sometimes. Imagine Dashi finally letting her sisters sleep in past 7 AM, and then she wakes them up to tell them that they have 2 workbooks they need to finish by the end of the week.

Shellington will NEVER give homework over break. He's too sweet to do that, and secretly, he hates giving homework cos he has to grade it.

During holidays, Peso randomly drops little packages of candy and stuff at people's bedroom doors because he wants to make everyone happy, and he's just that sweet.
