A/N: Completely unedited. Sry if I spelled things wrong or something xD Btw, in this Y/N is basically a computer whiz who is really good at tech stuf- including hacking. She works at a video game making company here.

Y/N stood outside the large glass doors of the corporate building. Sighing, she turned her head up to the sky, closing her eyes as the rain dripped down her hair and soaked through the fabric of her skirt.

5 minutes earlier-

Her heart was pounding. She frantically rummaged through the drawers, her eyes flicking back and forth between the piles of stationary and sheets of paper. Useless. She snapped the drawer shut, then shifted her attention to the wall of file cabinets on the opposite wall. Yanking one open, she thumbed through the endless rows of uniform yellow folders. Still nothing. Where was it?

Genshin Impact, MiHoYo's newest creation, set to debut in 24 hours, would be the downfall of their company. She had seen the teasers and demos herself; the plot, the characters, the stunning visuals- everything was so immaculate thought out. Nothing could compare to it, and after hours of going over it's story line, she too was entranced. Who wouldn't be? She wanted to scream. Why had their boss put her up to this, of all people? Ah yes. Because she was their marionette. Their puppet. The perfect weapon to dispose of when necessary.

"It shouldn't be too hard, would it?" She remembered the leers of the man she called her boss as he put a hand on her shoulder. "Nothing for our good little doll." He chuckled. He leaned closer, and she winced at the faint smell of alchohol on his breath. "Just remember; you are only team leader because I put you in that position. Now it's time to repay me." With a shove, he sent her scrambling on the ground, and his laughter echoed in her ears for hours afterwards.

That was a month ago. Now a month later, after hours of planning she had created a seemingly flawless plan, all on her own. But there was a slight problem. There was a flaw. How could she have been so stupid? She thought as she stared at the glowing blue screen of the main database. She drummed her fingers on the table. A password. Letters, numbers, and symbols- and on top of that, it was a whole 50 characters. Who in their right mind made such a long password? She couldn't even try a security override; that would alert the guards and trigger the alarms. And it would take years for even a computer to break that 50 character sequence. But of course, no one could possibly remember something that long, right? It was possible, but she doubted many people would care to. Which meant it had to be written down somewhere.

Thus began her search. Any piece of paper that had a long string of symbols on it would mean she hit the jackpot. But so far, she couldn't find anything. With a groan, she fell into the swivel chair in front of the desk and rubbed her head with her fingers. Think, Y/N, think! She propped her head on her hand and gave the room a slow once over. Her eyes shifted over a plush of the games mascot, Paimon, then quickly glanced back at it. There was something strange about the plush's eyes- were they lopsided? Her heart pounded. She jumped up and took it off the shelf, noting its previous position before looking down at it. Something was lodged inside the iris of the mascot, and she yanked it out to squint at it. A USB. Of course- the password was a hoax; there wasn't one at all. To get pass the firewall, you needed the USB.

Y/N jammed the USB into the computer, and the blue faded away to reveal line upon line of code. To the normal person, it was just computer jargon. But to her and her company, this was more precious than anything in the world. At the moment. And it needed to be destroyed. Leaning down, she yanked the capsule attached to the inside of her boot, and opened it to reveal a sleek, black disk, courtesy of her boss. She turned it over in her fingers once. It was amazing, she mused, that such a small device could completely ruin years of hard work. A computer virus was nothing to laugh at. It was a shame though, that such a master piece had to be laid to waste. But... did it have to be?

After a moment of hesitation, she pulled yet another USB out of her pocket, this battered and not nearly as nice as the ones in front of her. The cute bear key chain secured to it by a strap dangled as she plugged it in. She took a shaky breath as she watched a thick pixelized bar appear on the screen and slowly fill with green.

Y/N held the black disk between her fingertips. The virus wouldn't take long to upload, she had time.

Someone was coming. She could hear the barely discernible clicks of heels coming up the staircase. Shoot. She would have to hurry, then.

She opened up the hard drive and stuck in the disc, watching as it whirred to life. The footsteps outside got louder.

75%

The disc dissolved, having completed it's job. All that was left now, was the USBs.

100%

She yanked both  out of the computer, put the mascot back in place, and bolted.

Y/N winced as she prodded the scrape on her left forearm. She had left through the window, slamming it shut only to slide down to the second floor. It wasn't that big of a fall, but it was enough to give her an injury. It would need to be bandaged later. All things aside, she had succeeded in her  mission. She couldn't help but feel the grin forming on her face as she removed the USB from the safety of her coat pocket. The bear cheerily smiled up at her as she clenched it tightly in her fist. Countless opportunities. Endless possibilities- and it was all in the palm of her hand. Tomorrow, MiHoYo would launch their game only to find that it had been replaced by trending cat videos played on a loop. She couldn't help but laugh at their reactions. Pulling down her hood, she ran out into the rain.

All that running and parkour had left her drained. Y/N needed something to raise her blood sugar- maybe a nice, hot ramen and an onigiri would help. Yes, that was perfect. The light turned green, and she headed off towards the convenience store up ahead. What kind of ramen should she buy? Lately she had been craving something spicy, like tteok-bokki, but her favorite stall was miles away. No, perhaps a Shoyu ramen with Tonkatsu would suffice. Wait, why was she thinking so much about ramen-

She was on the ground. She couldn't get up. Everything hurt. In the corner of her eye, the bear winked up at her, it's ear missing after colliding with the hard asphalt of the road. She shakily raised her hand towards it, clenching it in her fist and pulling it tightly towards her chest.

The lights were too bright. Was this heaven? Y/N felt her eyelids beginning to droop, but she didn't feel sleepy. Adrenaline was still pumping in her veins from the nights previous endeavors. No, this was something different. She knew what was coming, what was going to happen to her. But she didn't want to, no, she didn't want to, no no no-
