"Rejected!"
It didn't take much thinking for Toman's vice-commander to turn down Takemichi and Chifuyu's proposal to bring Hakkai back from the Black Dragons. Their plan went down the drain in a matter of seconds.
"Takemitchy. I know you probably have your own considerations backing this up," Draken continues "But do you really wanna ruin the peace pact Mitsuya worked for? It would ruin his reputation."
Takemichi glances at the table top, already defeated. Draken announces the end of this discussion and everyone except the partners leaves the restaurant.
"Well, that ended pretty quick." Chifuyu heaves a sigh as he leans back in his chair. "Heard anything back from Nakano yet?"
The quick switch to the concerning question breaks Takemichi free of his defeated state. He quickly pulls out his phone, seeing no missed calls or messages. Neither of them had heard from the auburn eyed twin since yesterday before the meeting.
"I hope she's okay."
Takemichi knows his twin is trying to get closer to Yuzuha, but what if she got too close? What if Taiju caught her with Yuzuha? What if she gets into another fight? What if she goes on another rampage and gets into deeper shit?
"Wanna work together with me?"
Takemichi freezes, then glances at Chifuyu, who's eyes have narrowed into a sharp glare. The pair turn to the voice, and there he is.
Kisaki.
Chifuyu redirects his glower at the four eyed spawn of satan. "The hell did you say?"
"I want to stop Hakkai, too," Kisaki states with a stony expression.
"Think I can't see through your bullshit!?" Chifuyu explodes, aggressively approaching the fake third division captain. "Why the fuck would we ever wanna work with you!?"
"Nakano isn't with you. Even if she was, she wouldn't be of much help."
"The fuck do you mean by that?!" Now it's Takemichi's turn to yell angrily and the guy who keeps ruining the future. "Nakano is a thousand times better than you, just by existing!!"
"Even after she killed Baji?" The male twin recoils, taken aback by that question.
"She didn't kill Baji!" Chifuyu pushes Kisaki back in a fit of rage. "She tried to save him!"
"But she still ended up killing him. And I hate to say it, but-"
"Then don't say it-!"
"It's made Mikey weaker."
Suddenly, there's the resounding smash of glass, before Chifuyu brings a sharp shard to Kisaki's neck. "It's Mikey-kun!! Got that?!! You may be a captain, but we're still the same age!! So don't go acting like you're better than me!!"
"Chifuyu..."
Takemichi is suddenly pulled back, and a butter knife is brought to his neck. "Hey, now. You should know that infighting is strictly off-limits."
He glances back, to see the former Valhalla behind him with that psycho grin on his face. 'Hanma!!'
"Break that taboo, and I'll have to go a little crazy on ya fucks.♡"
