And the answer is, yes! There will be a second and third book. And no, that doesn't mean Malibu lost. You'll have to keep reading to find out.
There will be NO books the more later seasons (the ones with the all new casts). Book 1 has a lot of foreshadowing, and the rest is yet to come.
