The sooner Ysabella had released the wave of fire. She saw each of her friends sprinting to make a run to the north.

The phoenix flew to check on her brother. But as she was searching for Yvel and Kitsch, a black smog blurred her vision. It smelled so awful that the phoenix wasn't able to avoid crashing on top of the bush walls.

The phoenix squealed and the sooner she fell on the ground. She suddenly morphed into her human form.

The phoenix groaned as she stood up. Looking around with a wary expression and found it eerily quiet.
She couldn't hear even a single soul. But there were too many of them earlier.

Ysabella transformed back to her phoenix form and searched for everyone from her aerial view.
But she was beyond shocked when she saw none of them.

She flew and flew. Longer than she could remember. But the phoenix grew exhausted and failed to find a single one of her friends.

Ysabella morphed to her human form and stood carefully on top of the wall.

She started calling for each of their name. Repeating them as more as she can. But there was no response.
It caused Ysabella to panic and the first thing she had in mind is her little brother.

Ysabella transformed again and tried to track her brother's scent.
It was so faint but she considered herself lucky for being able to find it after hours.

The phoenix flew to the heart of the maze. The most darkest part and she would have been blinded by darkness if it isn't for her ability to see in the dark with her night vision eyes.

Soon. Ysabella spotted a familiar female sitting on one corner of the walls.

The sooner she had morphed into her human form, she ran towards them and recognized the female as the moon goddess. After all she is glowing, however it was so faint that she looked like a weak lantern.

"Yvel!?" She called but her attention was quickly diverted to her little brother on Yvel's droopy arms.

If it's many things she knows so well. One of them would be to tell whether her brother is alive or not. It's easy to tell for her because they're twins.

She didn't need to think twice and quickly cradled the dead body of the baby dragon. He didn't have any injury. But Yvel does. And that must be what caused him his death.

Ysabella began crying and whimpering. Muttering incoherent words to her baby brother while hugging him so carefully in her arms.

She didn't think he would die like this. It hasn't even been a month ever since he broke out of his sickening egg. And Ysabella were so happy to finally be able to properly communicate with him.

Her baby brother is just a complete ball of purity. He may be a dragon that normally grows to be a viscious monster. But Kitsch is very different.

He is a son to a phoenix and a demon's dragon. He have a blood with the mixture of good and evil. But goodness stood out to him the most and anyone can easily tell that by how he's very clingy with his rider.

It wasn't even ten minutes when she started griefing for the dragon's death. She heard a very familiar voices yelling from afar. Calling the names of her friends including hers.

A few more minutes. Trevor and Samuel came with their weapons aiming at anything that tries to attack them.

"Ysabella!!!" Samuel bellowed as he and Trevor quickly ran towards them.

Trevor gasped and qucikly stepped back when he realized the status of the dragon. Samuel on the other hand became stunned as he stares hard on the little creature.
A disappointed expression was slowly painting his face.

"My brother!" Ysabella cried as she looks at Samuel hopelessly. "My brother is dead! What I do now? He is dead!"

"I no protect him! I fly. And he is here! He is dead! Because I not with him!" She continued in between her almost uncontrollable sobs.

Samuel could only cry as he caress the head of the dragon. Forcing out a smile as he watches him as if he was just sleeping.

"It's not your fault Ysabella...." Samuel said to her but the phoenix couldn't really accept that fact.

She just cried and cried while both of the males sympathized with her.
Trevor checked Yvel and was quick to announce that the moon goddess was stabbed and killed. There were also marks on her neck. It seemed like she was also choked too.

"Who did this to brother and Yvel!"

"I will make them pay!"
