Chapter 28

Y/N POV:

The morning after the amusement park date, I woke up with a melancholy feeling in my heart. My soulmates would be leaving today and I couldn't help but feel sad. They had showed me so much kindness, so much affection over the last few days that I knew I was going to miss them dearly when they left. It was going to be hard to say goodbye today but I knew they had their world tour coming. I thought about what Namjoon had asked, about me joining them in Korea and even though we had just begun our relationship, I knew I wanted to be with them.

The ringing of my cell phone pulled me from my thoughts and I looked to see Arely's name. I hadn't talked to her much over the last few days, just quick messages to update her and I knew she wanted to hear more. Clicking the accept button, I answered the call. "Hello?"

"Hola amiga!" Arely's voice was cheerful, too cheerful for me before I had my coffee. "How's it going with the soulmates?"

"It's been good. They're so... so sweet and kind. They're caring and affectionate. Just perfect." I knew I was gushing but I was helpless to stop it. After spending the last few days with them, I had realized just how fortunate I was.

Arely sighed in relief, a dramatic sound that made me laugh. "I'm so happy to hear that. I knew they would be." Arely's tone curious. "Now tell me how it turned from three of them to six of them."

I could feel my face heat up at the mention of my six soulmates. "Um... well at lunch, after I met Jimin, Yoongi, and Namjoon, they kind of said they had something to tell me. Hobi, Tae, and Jungkook told me I was their soulmate."

"Holy shit amiga!" I could hear the shock in her voice. "Do they all have soulmate symptoms?"

"Yeah. With Tae? It's the scent. Jungkook can feel my pain and Hobi can hear my laugh." Memories of the lunch with my soulmates flooded over me and I couldn't help but feel grateful for them.

"Your pain? Oh no! Poor Jungkook!" Arely's tone was more amused than sympathetic and I knew she thought it was funny.

"Yeah. Apparently it started on New Years Eve when I cut my finger then again when I sprained my ankle." I felt bad knowing that Jungkook had to go through that, especially when I thought of how bad my ankle had hurt.

Arely was silent for a moment then laughed. "Oh god! What if he experiences your menstrual cramps too?"

The thought of that horrified me and I couldn't stop the surprised sound that left my throat. "Oh gosh! Don't even think that!"

Arely continued to laugh. "And think about when you have babies. He will feel your labor pains too!"

I sobered immediately at the thought of children. "Arely! We're not even at that point yet! I don't... don't even know if they like me yet."

"Stop it carina. I'm sure your soulmates adore you. I adore you and I'm not even your soulmate." Arely paused and her tone grew serious. "Listen to me. Your soulmates and you? You're going to get your happy ending. I can feel it."

Hoping she was right, I pushed the negative thoughts away and tried to focus on the amazing time I had had with my soulmates. They had smiles on their faces the whole time and they seemed to enjoy being around me, if their desire to hold my hand was any indication. We spoke for a few more minutes and I disconnected the call, happy that Arely had not asked me about the seventh man I had met. Reclining back against my pillows, I let my mind wander.

Kim Seokjin. The handsome quiet man with the wide shoulders and stunning dark eyes. The man who I was sure was my seventh soulmate. When I had first stepped into the room, I had the strangest feeling come over me. It felt like I was being pulled in seven different directions, seven different ways. After Hoseok, Taehyung and Jungkook explained who they were to me, it began to make sense. However, I was a little stunned, a little hurt by the coldness of Jin. I was sure he was my soulmate, almost as sure as I was of the fact that he wanted nothing to do with me.
