Hoor left Yumna and Hadeed in the room and went towards the lounge. She looked here and there, recognizing people. Her eyes went to Momal who was sitting alone in a corner. She went to her, and momal immediately ran to her phupho since she was feeling awkward in so many ladies. She picked her up and went outside to look for her brothers who were too irresponsible to leave Momal even though they know she gets scared between unknown people. She went towards the lawn and saw the lady from the hospital. She was talking to a guy, but she couldn't see the guy clearly since his back was facing her. She ran towards the lady and hugged her.

"Aray hoor beta tum? MashAllah kitni pyari lagri hai meri beti."
She kissed her forehead and she smiled.
(Hoor dear you? MashaAllah my daughter is looking so beautiful)

"Aap yahan kaisy? Main soch rhi thi apse milun but hospital se chutti hi nahi milti, apko bataya tha na mera senior bht hi badtameez aur khuroos insan hai."

(What are you doing here? I was thinking of meeting you but I don't get leaves from hospital. I told you about my strict and ill mannered senior.)

Aunty kissed the little girl. She knew it was her niece. Hoor had taken her number that day and used to call her when she was down.

"Han han wohi jiska moo noch lene ka dil karraha tha usdin."
(Yes yes the one who's face you wanted to scratch that day.)

"Bilkul sahi." Hoor nodded.
(Yes.)

"Ye mera beta ha, issay milo." Hoor turned towards the guy and passed a small smile. He was holding a little boy.

(This is my son. Meet him.)

"Apko bhi hospital me dekha ha 1-2 bar parking me." She pulled the baby's cheeks who was looking down at Momal.

(I have seen you too in parking a few times)

"Waise apne khuroos senior ke baray me thora batayengi? Kia naam hai?"
(Would you mind telling us about your mean senior? What's his name?)

"Kia bataun? Meri behen jesi dost ka nikkah hai toh me unka zikar krke kharab thori na krugi. Insan ko itna bhi badtameez or rude ni hona chahye. Meri sari mehnat ko unho ne bhai ka name le kr zaya krdya. Aj bhi rona ajata hai soch kr although it's now past."

(What do I say? It's the Nikkah of my sister like friends so I don't wanna ruin it by discussing him. A person should not be this rude and ill mannered. He wasted my whole hard work by using Ayaan bhai's name. Although it's now past, I still feel like crying whenever I remember it.)

"Toh usne maafi nai mangi?" Aunty frowned hearing her words.
(So he didn't apologize?)

What was her son doing to her prospective bahu? One thing Aunty didn't remember was she never told Aahil anything about Hoor so how he was supposed to know Hoor was her imaginary bahu?!
<Bahu means daughter in law>

"Itni himmat nahi hai un me. Waise bhi ab me unse baat karna pasand hi nahi krti bilkul bhi nahi. I prefer asking someone else, unless necessary. Aur I don't need his validation on my hard work and passion."

(He doesn't have this much courage Also, I don't like talking to him, not even for once. I prefer asking someone else, unless necessary. And I do not need his validation on my hard work and passion.)

A fake clearing of the throat  erupted from her back, and she turned immediately. Her eyes widened while her mouth gaped open as she saw Ahil standing with his hands folded at the back. He was wearing a black shalwar Kameez with sleeves rolled up.

"Kuch keh rahi theen aap Dr. Hoor?"
He asked in a dominating tone, and she gulped and nodded in no.

(Were you saying something, Dr. Hoor?)
