um okay so.. hi.. that whole story was a whirlwind of emotion ngl.. and i kinda want to talk about that
i saw a tweet that if your story can't continue a story without the main character, then your plot and side characters aren't strong enough. well me being who i am i took that as a challenge and i decided to write my own version of that... that's what this is
writing it was definitely harder than i thought it was going to be as i tried to find a balance of hurting and healing... i still don't know if i really did it right, but is there ever really a right way to write something?
i also want to make this story have one of those super cliche meanings behind it. and that is to always love and appreciate your friends and family because you literally never know what's going to happen.
and also stop worrying so much about your past and future. it's okay to worry sometimes, but you also have to live in the moments. what's meant to be is going to be and you have to trust that it'll come as it must. in the end, you don't want to look back and see all you missed out on, but you want to see all you got to experience because you lived in the moment.
this book has become my favorite that i've written so far and i love taegan with all my heart and soul. it was honestly hard to get through writing at some times if i'm going to be honest.
now i am also going to do a cheesy thank you because i can.. i want to thank that one twitter post for giving me a challenge and helping me make a lot of people cry.
thank you to all the cool people in my discord who were able to not only decode what the story was about before chapter one was posted, but also caught on to little things/messages i put in the story.. you guys are super awesome <3
specifically thank you to @OtterSpace777 for naming Vegas.. it literally inspired an entire set of chapters haha
