With a deft move, Yeonjun poured the fourth glass of champagne down his throat already, set it down on the nearest waiter's tray, and blew air out of his nose. All the carbonation was definitely not good for his stomach and he felt bloated. Still, he had already noticed that without alcohol he couldn't stand this evening, or rather the author's ramblings. Taehyun, who had hooked his arm, looked at him with his wide eyes before Yeonjun adjusted his delicate silver chain. "All that's missing are the carriages." Demonstratively, he glanced outside through the large, flashing windows but found none.

Taehyun nodded.

"I was afraid for a moment that this was a ...," he shook his head, not even wanting to say it, "but his parents are actually walking around here and there, proudly telling what a great writer their son isn't after all. - What I find even scarier is that they call their son by his pen name ..."

"What, that's not his real name?" asked Yeonjun in surprise, then rolled his eyes. "Of course he has a pen name, what else?"

Smiling, the shorter man leaned toward his friend, reaching out and running his hand through his dark hair. "Have I ever told you today how stunning you look?" asked Taehyun, certain that Yeonjun could remember very well how he had commented on his boyfriend's new look.

One thing was for sure, he was wearing the suit for the second time today.

With a winning smile, Yeonjun turned to face him completely, then buried his face in the crook of the slightly shorter man's neck. "Likewise," he growled against the 24-year-old's neck, but when he looked up, he saw a group of older ladies giving the two young men a confused, even shocked look. So the tall guy straightened up again, cleared his throat. "Wow, they must have never seen two men making out before," he snorted disapprovingly, "we're really in the 18th century here."

"Should we give them a show?" asked Taehyun, chuckling, who had also noticed them being watched. "Would you like to dance?" he added as a question, looking up at Yeonjun.

A slight smirk graced the prominent, full lips.

"Your buddy will probably wish he hadn't invited us after this."
