ETERNITY : Seventeen [FLASHBACK]

SPECIAL CHAPTER

Seventeen years ago. Seunghee was still alive. Nagyeol is also alive and with them. There's also a happy 4-year old Seungcheol.

"Mom, where are we going?" Seungcheol asked his mother, Seunghee.

Seunghee bends down to reach her son's height. "To the Theme Park." Seunghee responded and Seungcheol's eyes immediately sparkled.

It's his dream to go to Theme Park, and now it's coming true.

"Is Nagyeol coming with us?" Seungcheol is anticipating for a yes, and he got so much happy when his Mom, Seunghee, nodded its head.

Seungcheol is so happy to spend time with his family. But sadly, his father, Cheolhan isn't coming with them.

"I said I don't wanna go to the Theme Park with you. I'm busy." Cheolhan immediately refused to go to the Theme Park with his family.

"But Dad.." Seungcheol pleaded with his eyes, but in response, he received a stern look from his Dad. "I said, no."

Cheolhan never spends time with his family. Not even once. Seungcheol and Nagyeol are both already used to this but everytime they try to reach out to their Dad, they always get disappointed.

Because Cheolhan never cared about them at all.

"Mom!" Nagyeol called out Seunghee. "Can we try a few rides?" Nagyeol pouts. All they did is to eat, and never even tried any rides in the Theme Park.

"Okay," Seunghee felt defeated with Nagyeol's pout. Nagyeol immediately dragged her brother, Seungcheol to a ride.

Bumper Cars.

Seungcheol was so busy listening to Nagyeol talking endlessly, that he didn't even notice another kid walking towards their way.

Seungcheol bumped into the kid. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" Seungcheol said. It's a boy whom he bumped to. The boy looked at him didn't even felt apologetic.

"You should've also looked at where you're going! So it's also your fault!" The kid rebutted and crossed his arms at Seungcheol.

"But you also saw me! You should've avoided it!" Seungcheol raised his voice.

"You should watch your steps first instead of blaming it on me only!" Does this scene seems familiar to you? Hmm.

But anyways, the kid walked away and entered the bumper cars, and of course, Seungcheol got pissed off.

"That boy is cute," Nagyeol commented, looking at the boy who now picked a car for him to ride.

Seungcheol stomped his way on the ride and chose a car to ride on.

As soon as the ride started, Seungcheol immediately forgot about what just happened. He enjoyed the ride a lot together with his sister, Nagyeol.

After riding it for a few minutes, they got off the ride and they were just about to leave, when the kid earlier approached them.

"Hey, do you wanna challenge me on a ride?" The kid said, talking to Seungcheol.

"Yeah, sure. I'm so down." Seungcheol smirked. Yes, a 4-year old taking on a challenge with another kid.

"Let's ride the ferris wheel. The first person who gets scared loses and buys the winner an ice cream." The kid said and crosses his arms again.

"Deal," Seungcheol said and left Nagyeol alone.
