Taehyung was smiling to himself thinking about everything that happened that day

From the very first day Jungkook seemed to be a very grumpy person to him someone who just cares about his job but today he saw a different side of the said man

One who knows how to love but doesn't know how to show it. He has his own troubles but he cares about others.

How he ran for his sister, how he was grateful to Taehyung.... each of his action really touched taehyung

With all these thoughts Taehyung slowly entered the house. It was pretty late at night and he didn't want to disturb his family who might have fallen asleep waiting for him.

Slowly closing the door behind him the boy tiptoed to his room but while he was crossing his father's room, he heard something, an argument.

"We can't put an end to it dad!! You know that!" yelled namjoon.

The door was a little ajar making it easier for taehyung to hear everything

"for how long this will go on joon? This is not normal, we need to do something about it" said Noh concern evident in his voice

Sighing namjoon sat on the bed, his face in his hand

Noh went closer to him and sat beside him rubbing the boy's back. Both of them had their back towards the door so they had no clue that taehyung was watching everything

"what you are doing is not wrong namjoon but..." noh sighed

Namjoon put his hand down and looked at his father "i know dad what you are worried about but we can't do anything about it and most importantly Taehyung should not know. He should never know"

Taehyung's eyes widened

"i know son i know" with that he hugged him.

Taehyung didn't wait to hear further instead he quickly but quitely ran to his room

"Taehyung should never know"

Those words kept ringing in his ears

What are they hiding from me? And why?  Why am i being kept in the dark?

All these questions kept pestering him, he just couldn't understand why he was being kept away from all these whereas he never kept any secret from his family, he was an open book to them

Just then there was a knock on his door

"tae are you in there?" asked namjoon

"yes hyung" tae said quietly

"ah you are back, i just saw the light in your room" he said "did you eat?"

Taehyung just nodded, he was a bit angry at his hyung and really wanted to confront him but he also wanted joon to say things on his own not due to a confrontation

"is anything wrong? You want to tell me something?" asked namjoon looking at tae carefully

"yes"

"sure, ask"

"hyung why were you so scared of me to open that drawer in the morning?" taehyung wanted to ask something else but he felt lets start with the easy one

Namjoon got a bit nervous "umm nothing tae dont worry about it it it j-just had some silly things which i didn't want you to easy orelse you would just make fun of me" he chuckled

Taehyung smiled but he surely didn't buy it

"ok hyung no worries i am a bit tired so I think I should go to sleep now" he said

"yeah me too, goodnight tae" namjoon was about to leave when tae called him

"hyung"

"yes tae" he turned around while standing close to the door

"you know you are really important to me" he smiled

"and you are the most precious person in my life tae" namjoon smiled back and then left the room

Taehyung kept staring at the closed door wondering what is it that Namjoon doesn't want him to know.

Why is his hyung who shares every single detail with him is suddenly keeping secrets from him?

Taehyung looked at the picture on the wall of him and Namjoon and reminisced the time he saved Taehyung from some bad guys on the street. He sighed thinking about that...his hyung will always want the best for Tae and he should never doubt it. Or should he?

He frowned abit and looked at the picture again
