I wish that me being your savior was all that it took.
I would become everything you ever needed to believe.
But since my god is mightier than me, I cannot be yours.
Instead I'll wish that you believed in the things that make me...me.
If you made it to heaven, the riches of joy I would have truly received.
In the meantime, can I trace the grooves of your mind?
It worries me that you've given in to darkness and deception.
Maybe I'll exhale my truths into your pores.
Do you really listen when I say I wish to see you at heaven's doors?
I wish you could see the light, or maybe even grace it's way....
That I may finally exhale you, relieved.
