"Everyone on my position. We have incoming," Cap says.

"What the hell?" Nat asks as her, Cap, T'Challa, Okoye, Bruce, Sam, Bucky, and I all stand in the woods and look up at the sky. Wanda stands in front of Vision, who is leaning on a trunk on the ground.

There's a sound, so we all turn around and look at blue and black smoke before Thanos walks out. "Guy, who invited the grape?" I ask quietly.

"Shut up," Cap whispers back to me.

"Cap, that's him," Bruce says.

Cap does something to his forearm shields and starts walking. "Eyes up. Stay sharp."

Bruce runs forward at Thanos, only to fly through him and get stuck inside some rocks.

Cap runs for Thanos next, only to get tossed aside.

T'Challa jumps up, but Thanos grabs him by the neck and punches him down into the ground.

Sam flies forward, shooting at Thanos. He gets shot down and falls to the ground.

Rhodey gets up in the air and shoots. Thanos does something weird to him, turning him blue before tossing him to the side.

Buck, Okoye, Nat, and I all start running forward. Bucky shoots at him, then gets thrown to the side. I fling a sword at him, and it's reflected back and into the space under my collar bone. I get closer to him, not minding the sword in me when I go to stab him.

He sends me flying backwards, and I land on Bucky. I roll of him and mumble a sorry.

"It's okay," he grunts, then his eyes widen when he sees the sword. "Um, May—"

I look down. "Oh, right," I say, pulling it out of my body. He looks at me like I'm crazy as my skin starts to heal up. "God dammit, I should've used my invisibility."

More commotion happens around us. I see Nat buried halfway in the ground. Okoye is laying on the ground, and Groot is laying on the ground somewhere too. Cap gets in front of Thanos and starts punching him.

He starts yelling, trying to get Thanos's hand away. Then Thanos punches him to the ground. I cough, hitting my head on the dirt behind me.

Bucky's chest moves up and down while he tries to catch his breath. He reaches his hand over and grips mine, and I do the same back.

I hear someone thud on the ground, then someone else. I open my eyes a little and glance around, trying to hold in a gasp when I see Vision. He's laying on the ground, his eyes white and his body black and white and gray.

Bucky squeezes my hand tighter.

I lose contiousness momentarily but am woken back up by Cap helping pick me up. He helps Bucky up too, then starts walking towards Thor. I follow after him as he asks, "Where did he go? Thor. Where'd he go?"

"May?"

I turn around and see Bucky looking at his metal arm, which looks as if it's disappearing.

"Buck?"

I start walking over to him, going to catch him when he falls.

Instead, he doesn't fall. He disappears, his gun falling on the ground.

"Bucky?" I ask again. "Buck? James?" I drop down onto my knees and touch the ground, trying to get a hold of Bucky, as if he is still in front of me. "Buck?" I turn to Cap. "Steve? Where'd he go? Steve, help me find him."

I start moving my hands over the grass and leaves. As if I think there's quicksand below me that he fell in and I can get him out. My vision is blurry, and I can feel the tears going down my face.

I turn back to Cap. "Steve, help me find him! Help me. Please."

Cap shakes his head and drops down next to me, wrapping his arms around me. "Shh. He's gone, Cher. He's gone."

"No, he can't be," I sniffle. Then I turn and punch Cap away. "He couldn't've just vanished. Cap, help me, please."

"Stop. Stop," Cap says, holding onto me tighter.

I hear Okoye start yelling in a different language. Then hear Rhodey yell for Sam.

"Cap, what's happening?" I ask him while my head in buried in his chest.

"I don't know," he whispers in my ear. "You're okay. It's all okay."

Nat runs over to Thor, Rocket, Rhodey, Bruce, Cap, and I as Cap flips Vision over. He falls back onto the ground and looks down at Vision.

I lean my back against a tree, sitting on the ground while my finger runs over the letter indents in the dog tags around my neck. My mask is laying on the ground next to me while the blood on my face is still fresh.

"What is this?" Rhodey asks. "What the hell is happening?"

We all sit in silence as Cap stares at the space in front of him.

"Oh God."
