I run back and saw Thalia struggling on controlling the creatures she released

"Damn it all!" She screamed

The only way to stop all of this is to make her unconscious, it's a life or or death situation for all of us. If she continue doing this, this empire will no longer exist

I raised my arrow and tried to aim her. She dodge it and glared at me. She suddenly attacked me, it happened so fast that the next thing I knew my face had blood on it

I gathered all my courage and attacked her, I manage to hit her but she throw another magic on me

I closed my eyes and saw Augustus in front of me

"You're still alive, Augustus." Thalia said

Augustus smirked, "Of course, I am, you underestimate me too much."

His back... He's topless that I can see all the bruise and scar in his back. Did.... Thalia did this to him?

He groan after he received Thalia's attack that was supposed to hit me

I attacked Thalia and pinned her to the ground

"Get off me, witch!" She screamed

I stared blankly at her, I grabbed my arrow and attempt to stab her

"Why do you hate me so much?" I asked

She laughed, "Why do I hate you?"

She stared at me, "You ruined everything, you're supposed to be the bad guy here. I was jealous of how wealthy you are and how much you received a lot of love before while I was so desperate to raise my status. I even told someone to kill my own mother so I can forget how much I suffered on the street. And since that day, I marked you as my rival. I did everything to destroy your image and all but---"

I slapped her "You're crazy, desperate, disgusting person I know. A heroine is worth more than that, Thalia, and you're not worthy to be so called heroine in this world."

"Ha, and you think you can be the heroine, Eloise? You're life is destroyed now!"

"I don't want to be the heroine. Being a villainess is fine with me. I'm not desperate like you Thalia."

"Then go ahead, kill me, but don't be surprised if one of them will be dead after."

One of them?

"What are you talking about?"

She laughed, "Augustus and I shared one life. If I'm in pain, a scar or bruise will be visible in his body. So if I'm dead, he'll be dead."

I looked at Augustus, he's panting. I feel bad for him.

I didn't know that he'll share a same fate with Thalia
