When Yeji arrived at work, people wished her happy birthday. Chaeryeong even bought her a cake but she can't seem to fake a smile.

"What's wrong? I thought you'd be happy. You saw your soulmate last night right?" The dance teacher asks.

Yeji just barely nods.

"Are you not going to talk? Is your soulmate an enemy so you're not happy? What?" Chaeryeong continues to question.

Yeji sighs, "My soulmate is my bestfriend who passed away. I won't be able to be with my soulmate. I won't experience that first spark people talk about. Its sad."

Chaeryeong hugs the sad girl, "It's okay. I'm sure things will work out somehow. It might not be the same but it will still be great as long as you love each other."

"I know I will be fine. I still can't help feel sad. I've waited majority of my life for this. And it's worse than my soulmate died at such a young age."

"I can't say I fully understand. But I can always be another pair of ears if you just need someone to listen" Chaeryeong offers.

Yeji is grateful for Chaeryeong. She knows she has Lia but talking to Chaeryeong is different. She's calm and mellow as to where Lia is chaos at times.

"Thank you. I really appreciate that" Yeji says.

"Let's get to work before we get fired" Chaeryeong jokes.

While the two are trying to come up with a new choreography, Yuna suddenly barges in.

"What's up pretty people!?" She yells.

"Yuna! You're too loud!" Chaeryeong complains.

Yuna pouts and hugs Chaeryeong, "I'm sorry Chaeryeong unnie. I forget you're sensitive to sounds."

"I don't know how you forget when your sister is sensitive to sounds—" Chaeryeong quickly covers her mouth but it was too late.

Yuna let's go of the hug and is on the verge of tears.

Chaeryeong is the one to hug the younger this time, "I'm sorry Yuna. I wasn't thinking. It just slipped out. I miss her too you know?"

Yeji feeling awkward raises her hand.

Chaeryeong and Yuna gave her a questioning look, "Why are you raising your hand?" asks Yuna.

"I have a question" Yeji answers.

"You don't have to raise your hand to ask a question" Chaeryeong chuckles.

Yeji puts her arms down and rubbed it, "Right" she says looking down.

"I'm sorry if it's too personal but what happened to you sister? Lia and I didn't even know you have a sister" Yeji finally asks.

Yuna starts crying and Chaeryeong rubs her back.

"Yuna, are you okay with telling Yeji?" Chaeryeong asks the crying girl. Yuna nods slowly.

"Ryujin, her sister and my bestfriend, ran away when she found out her older sister died"

"Yuna has two sisters?" Yeji interrupts.

"I was going to explain more but you decided to interrupt" the redhead rolls her eyes.

Yeji quickly apologized so Chaeryong can continue.

"Anyways, no. Yuna doesn't have two sisters. Ryujin is her half sister from her dad but Ryujin had a half sister from her mom's side."

Yeji looks up trying to make sense of what Chaeryeong just said.

Chaeryeong continues, "So Ryujin's sister from her mom's side died in a car accident. After finding, Ryujin ran away and just disappeared. We don't know if she's okay or if she's even alive. Their dad even hired private investigators to find her but nothing yet. As you can see, Yuna is not taking it well."

"Oh I thought she was dead" Yeji mumbles.

"She could be! We don't know!" Yuna yells after hearing Yeji.

"I'm sorry Yuna. That was very insensitive of me. I shouldn't have said" Yeji feeling guilty.

"No, I'm sorry I shouldn't be like this. It's your birthday after all and I'm being a downer."

"Actually both of you are being downers, "You're sad about your sister" she points at Yuna. "Then you're sad about your soulmate" points at Yeji.

"You're sad about your soulmate?" Yuna asks.

Yeji nods and gave Yuna a recap of everything.

Yuna hugs her, "If my sister was here I'd set you up with her."

Yeji chuckles, "Yuna, you can't do that. She has her soulmate who's probably waiting for her."

"I know but I've always wanted my sister to date one of my friends but clearly I can't do that with Lia Unnie since she has a boyfriend" Yuna says.

Chaeryeong and Yeji got no work done that day since Yuna stayed and chatted with them. Who were they to kick out the daughter of the CEO.

Yeji is about to leave then Chaeryeong calls for her name.

"Are you busy tonight?" The redhead asks.

"Not really. Lia and I are probably just gonna watch movies" Yeji says not looking forward to go home where she'll just think about Sohee.

"Do you want to grab dinner with me? My treat for your birthday?" Chaeryeong shyly asks.

"Sure! Is it okay if we bring Lia? I don't want to ditch her last minute since we did have plans to watch movies in our pajamas" Yeji laughs a little.

"Of course. That's perfectly fine" Chaeryeong awkwardly says.

The two dancers decided to wait for Lia outside the building. Yeji already texted her bestfriend about their change of plans.

Yeji notices the girl next to her fidgeting, "Are you okay?"

"Uh yes. I'm fine. Why?" The girl looks at her curiously.

"You literally can't stand still? You act like you're nervous for a date" Yeji teases.

"What? A date? I don't date. Just like you I wait for my soulmate" She says.

Lia finally arrives and introduces herself.

"Hi I'm Lia. Yeji's friend slash roommate" she says showing her adorable eye smile.

"Hi. Name is Chaeryeong. I know who you are. Yeji's mentioned you a few times and I've seen you around" Chaeryeong blushes.

Yeji realizing the reason why Chaeryeong was fidgeting because she was nervous to meet Lia. She smiled and is looking forward to tease her new friend about it later.

They're sitting in the restaurant just laughing and talking when the person that just walked in caught Yeji's eyes.

Chaeryeong and Lia is busy laughing at each other's jokes thinking they're the funniest people in the world and didn't seem to notice the girl by the door or maybe they just don't care.

Yeji's heart is beating so fast and she doesn't know if her eyes is deceiving her or if what she's seeing is real.

'Sohee' she thought but it's impossible. She's dead. Yeji attended the funeral. How can Sohee be alive.

Her questions were answered when she heard a group of people call the mysterious girl to their table.

'Jinnie' is what they called her. She's beautiful.
