Yumna was continuously calling Hadeed who was not picking up her calls or replying to any of her text. It was almost 12 p.m. on a sunday. She didn't have shift & she knew Hadeed didn't have one too. Even if he slept till late, 12 pm was late enough for him to wake up now. She was hospital yesterday, & also met Hoor's dad. She was very happy for Hoor as after 3 years of living with her in hostel, she was getting her family back. Yumna's family lived in the same city but she wanted to live in university's hostel. She sighed and threw her phone on the bed. She decided to change & go to his house, afterall she was his wife now.

She wore a green shalwar Kameez with little jewellery, her hair as always in a bun and left. She parked the car & pressed the bell. Hadeed's sister, Madiha opened the door. She met her and went inside, but couldn't see Hadeed in the lounge. She met her mother in law and she told her Hadeed is in his room, sleeping. She took her to Hadeed's room & opened the door. Yumna was shocked to see the condition of his room. Wrappers of food everywhere, cushions on the floor, tangled bedsheet and some other items scattered everywhere.

"Beta, ek baat kahun." His mother politely called her who nodded in a state of shock.

(Dear, Do I tell you something?)

"Tumhay isme nazar kia aya tha jo shadi krli?" Yumna's eyes widened as she looked at her mother in law.

(What did you see in him that you married him?)

"Job pe bht acha or Disciplined beshak hota hoga magar shadi krke to ek ghr me rehna hai na uske sath, ghr me to ye intihai laparwah insan hai. Ab jo hona tha wo to hogaya. Tum doctor ho tmhy to pata hai khana peena or safai kitni zururi hai, isko to bilkul khyal nai hai. Likin meri hamdardi tmhry sath hai beta, kabi koi masla ho mjhy batana main iske kaan khinchugi. Ab khudi uthao isay." She patted her shoulders and left, leaving Clean-freak yumna in a state of panic and worry. How will they spend their life together as opposites?

(He may be very disciplined & good at job but after marriage you have to live with him at home, not at hospital. He is very careless at home. Whatever was supposed to happen, has already happened. You are a doctor you know how important a good diet & cleanliness is. He doesn't care. But my sympathies are with you, child. If there's a problem, tell me I'll pull his ears. Now wake him up yourself.)

A/N

There falls our beautiful Dr. into the harsh reality & comes out of her fantasy of blue eyes💀💀

Life isn't all about fantasy. We all have to compromise & change. When we talk about change, often sentences like *Never change for someone.* *If you can't accept me the way I am, leave.* *I am not going to change myself.* come in our mind and credit to social media.

Yes, do not CHANGE for someone but we need to learn that there's a difference between improving & changing. We didn't learn to improve in the name of being yourself and accepting yourself.

If you're a liar, then you are supposed to stop lying instead of claiming this is how I am. You are supposed to try to improve yourself. If not for someone else, for your own self.

Also; this is coming from someone who hates marriage & relationships. I just didn't see much happy couples/ loving couples around me & I am here to find peace in fiction.

I am here to see loving, caring & beautiful aspect of marriage to escape realities because I know all this exists only here. You will most probably not find me writing about the milky white skin of a female character & perfect skin, her hazel, blue or green eyes & perfect lips and rosy lips.
