"Y/N, I can't believe you decided to leave us... And you call yourself an L/N. I DON'T EVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN." my father yells, he puts his arms around me, shaking me from side to side...

"Stop it! Stop it! Leave me alone!" I shrug.

I am woken up in a cold sweat, the woman in the seat next to me tries to calm me down her voice is sweet and gentle, somewhat resembling my mother's voice... My mother, I wonder if she's ok, I wonder if that idiot even came home.

Apparently, the shaking was actually just a bit of turbulence, but to me, it actually felt real, I felt his wrath and rage through the dream, things could have been different if he was just a real father!

Now that I only have about half an hour before we land, I decide it's maybe time that I switch on my phone. The process of it only switching on takes a century, did I make a mistake, did I make everything just worse for mom. No, that man, he was manipulative and money-hungry, I wil never want a relationship like that, he was never my role model, never my superhero, and never my father.

My screen is finally on, and I see 9 notifications and 5 missed calls.

Mama: 3 messages
Father: 1 message, 1 missed call.

I open Ali's text first:
