Chapter #11: Before the Trip

Seth's POV

I woke up and Y/N is gone.
I got up to the kitchen to see if she was there, and she also wasn't there. But, I found this note on the refrigerator.

It said...

You know what, today I'm feeling motoviated and I should help Y/N- fuck, Sam is calling me.

"Hey Seth question!"
"Yea what's up?"
"I know what happened from the last trip with Y/N and all, BUT, there is this abandoned mall in Washington. It is haunted and it basically has the same shit as the asylum we went to. Do you and Y/N wanna come? If you do wanna come, we can order tickets for the flight." Sam states.
"I'll ask Y/N when I visit her at her apartment. She is currently moving the her new furniture in. " I say.
"Gotchu, if she says yes then make sure you call me back. Also, Nate, Katrina, and Josh are coming. Alright cya!"
"Cya!"
I hung and headed up to the top floor.

Once I got up, I headed to Y/N's apartment.
And the door was open, I still knocked because I ain't no impolite bitch.

"Who was it?!" She exclaims.
"IT'S SETH!"
"COME IN!"

I walk in and Y/N was in her living room hanging up pictures.

"Um- quick question!"
"Alright what you got."
"Sam wanted to know if you wanted to come to a abandoned place with us again. It's a abandoned mall that is haunted and it basically has the same similarities as where we went to yesterday. Do you want to go or nah?" I ask.
"Bet honestly! I know I almost died last trip but it's worth a shot trying to die again right?" Y/N joked.
"Don't joke about that." I say patting her shoulder.
"Understandable.." She says.
"I'm going to call Sam now, cause guess what Y/N."
"What now?"
"THE PLACE WE ARE GOING TO IS IN WASHINGTON!!"
"THAT MEANS WE ARE FLYING THERE!?" She asks.
"FUCK YEA!"
"Wait- what is this place again?"
"An abandoned mall?"
"THAT'S EVEN BETTER!"
"Alright, I'm going to call Sam now. Have fun with this mess!"
"Ah yes thank you for reminding me of that!"

I walk out of the apartment and I call Sam up.

"Did she say yes?" Sam asks.
"Yes she did!"
"So that means that Colby is buying seven tickets for us!" He states.
"When is the flight?" I ask.
"In two days why?"
"Just making sure! Cya!"
"Bye!"

Sam hangs up and I walk back into Y/N's apartment wanting to help her out.

"Hey um- is it okay if I can help you or nah?" I ask.
"Sure! Can I show you my room first?" She asks.
"Oh my god yes!"
We walk into a small stairway up and we walk down a hallway and Y/N's room was the last one on the left.

"Holy shit- THIS IS AWESOME!" I exclaim.

There is a bed right next to a window and a night stand right next to the bed. A lamp stands with plants under it. Her mirror has Spiderman funko pops under it holding it up.

"It's still a work in progress but yea! Also, I have to move some of my stuff from your guest room into here." She states.
"Alright gotchu, plus the flight is in two days! I say.
"So you are basically saying that a plan that was just made and the flight is in two days?" She asks looking up at me.
"Um yea!" I insisted.
"Seems just a little understandable but quite confusing if you ask me." Y/N goes on.

We walk back to the living and work on putting decorations up.
The paintings were different places around the world like Golden Gate Bridge and the Wildwood Boardwalk down back in New Jersey.

"You know, hanging up pictures that you visited real life is like looking back in the past if you think about it." She shared.
"Yea, there is one picture of me back in Colorado when I visited the Stanley Hotel for the first time with my family." I recalled.

Ring Ring

"Sorry, my brother is calling me, hold up." She states.
"Nah you're good." I replied.

She walks off into her room and I look at the decorations she has bought for her apartment.
As I was looking at them, one caught my eye.
The picture showed the Pine Barrens. It shows Y/N and her family messing around a campfire and there a shadow figure in the background that is standing there in the distance. It looked tall and distorted. From far away, it looks invisible and blends in with it's surroundings.

Y/N walks in.

"My brother said he is going on the trip to Washington with us!" She said having a excited look on her face.
"It's been awhile since he went on trips like these." I add on.
"Yea, and now he is coming with us, which is a good thing!" She exclaims.
"Oh um- you know what never mind." I cut myself off not wanting to talk about the picture.
"You good?" She asks looking worried.
"Yea, I just answered the question I was going to ask." I say laughing.
"Oh okay! Oh shit, the people who dropped the paintings dropped off a PC set up. I have to go grab it." Y/N states.
"Gotchu, gotchu."

I grab my phone from my pocket and it says 3:09 PM. Shit, Josh wants me to film a video with him.
I text Y/N that I have to record with Josh and that's pretty much it.
I head out of the apartment and head to Josh's.

Bing

Y/N texted me.

It's says...

"Have fun recording!"

I can't help but fall for her.
