3rd POV
Steve walks towards the door and rings the doorbell and waits for an answer or someone to open the door, after few seconds the door opens automatically and he hesitantly enters looking for someone inside but finds no one, until he hears a voice coming out of no where,
"Mr. Stark is waiting inside the living room, please make yourself comfortable."
Steve looks at the ceiling hearing Jarvis's voice and proceeds to walk inside further down the hallway until he sees Tony sitting on the big lavishing couch with the teenager he came her for, playing video games.
"o-oh, careful there." Tony says.
"I got him."
"there's another on your left."
"....Tony."
Tony looks up from the screen and glance at Steve standing there waiting for a response,
"oh look old man's here." Tony says standing up.
The young brunette also takes her eyes off the TV screen and looks at Steve, and grins instantly after recognizing him. Steve smiles gently and walks to her side.
"cap!!!" she pauses the game, sets the controller down and stands up, without anyone's help now and wraps her arms around Steve giggling. Steve returns the hug and pats her head before breaking the embrace.
"how are you now?"
"I'm good."
He nods and looks at the bandages wrapped around her head,
"does it still hurt?"
Diya lifts her hand to touch the bandages and says,
"a little, but It'll pass."
"you two talk, I'll be back...." He says and start walking away then points at Steve, "......don't eat my pizza."
Steve nods smiling, slowly getting used to Tony's antics, and turns at the girl again, and they both sit back down.
"so how have you been, kid?"
"I mean, other than the fact that I'm full of stitches, I'm all right." Diya replies smiling,
Steve lets out a small laugh then speaks up,
"you got heart kid, you'll get through." He says patting her back.
"yep."
After few seconds of comfortable silence Steve starts the conversation again,
"anyways, I um...got something for you."
"I told you before I don't want gifts."
"you can't say no to this one." He says digging his hands in his pockets before pulling out a familiar diamond and gold bracelet showing it to the owner.
Diya narrows her eyes and looks at the bracelet and immediately recognizes it, she lets give out a small gasp after watching it. She takes it back from Steve hands and laughing brightly,
"where did you get it?" she asks looking at Steve.
"Coulson found it at the detention center after....you left. Thought you might want it back. He was busy so I got it instead."
"thought I lost it forever." She says smiling in relief inspecting it, making sure it's not damaged.
"I um cleaned that blood from it, don't worry it's fine."
"aww thank you." she says turning her head back to him.
".....it means a lot to you doesn't it?"
