Be in a relationship, my heart said.
You're not ready for it, the rest of the world said.
Is it love over friendship or friendship over love?
The question that I cannot get rid of.
we've been friends for long
built a foundation so strong,
But I'd known it all along:
Things will eventually go wrong.
I thought falling for you would be easy.
Yet, I started to feel uneasy.
The idea of us not working out as more than friends
That sure made me tense.
Our feelings were successfully conveyed.
But I'm sick and tired of this waiting game.
It's time to stop our little charade.
A great deal of pain can still be evaded.
I would never want to hurt you, nor do I intend to
But this almost love story of ours seems to have reached its end.
I hope you can understand me and make amends.
Listen to what I'm about to recommend.
Let's remain in each other's lives as friends.
It is a kind of relationship that will never end.
I would want to settle with that.
Than going back to being strangers again.
