Authors POV:
I need a job. Y/n thought, she scrolled online for a bit on her comfy bed in her tiny apartment. The screen flashed on her eyes, superstar daycare, need employees. Call 123-456-789 this was y/ns CHANCE! And plus they paid 20$ and hour. How hard could it be? She put in her application feeling confident.
A few hours later..
Y/n got a message
DECLINED!
What?! This can't be. I'll just try again.
After a month of applications the company got tired of y/n and finally accepted.
UGH FINALLY! Y/n thought what's wrong with these people?..
Your shift starts tomorrow at 9:30 am buzzed the message on her phone. She was so excited that she passed out... immediately.... y/n eventually woke up at 9 and got dressed. She wore the uniform theyd sent her and she went off to work. The taxi she was using smelled like cheese.. ew. As soon as y/n got there she hopped out the car and stepped into the HUGE building. She got a map from one of the bots and made her way the daycare. This is it huh? She look for an entrance but only found a slide. Are you kidding me?... this place... she went down the slide and fell into the ball pit where she then saw... and animatronic sun thingy?... "COO COO! COO COO! TIME TO WAKE UP !" said the odd looking robot, it looked down straight at y/n, meeting eye contact with y/ns eyes. Y/n jumped, her soul almost fell out of her body.. terrifying!!,.. y/n thought as the sun jumped down into the ball pit where'd he go??? Y/n thought right before the sunny animatronic scooped her up gently
"and whoooo might you be?" Sundrop questioned
"Oh I'm-" y/n was cut off
"OOOOH! Let me guess! Let me guess!" Sun squealed with excitement
"Oh.. okay, guess..?" Y/n muttered
"You're... uhm.. uhm.. My new friend!!!" Sundrop announced hugging y/n tightly
"Oh- well I'm actually.. the new daycare assistant!-" exhaled
"OH! I've heard of youuuu!!! You called us none stop for a month just to get hired!! Bad girl!" Sundrop booped your nose as you smiled awkwardly.
BBRRING! BBRRRING!
Suns watch went off.
"Looks like the kids are here!" Sun put you down gently beside the desk and went over to play with the kids
You sighed, first impressions, huh? You looked around, you haven't noticed how colourful this place was until now. Like something out of a fairytale.. you walked over with the kids and knelt down.
Sun gasped "oh my goodness!! I totally forgot to introduce you guys! Silly me." Sundrop hit his head with his fist cartoonishly. "This is ms.y/n! She is new so be nice to her okaaay?" "Hello ms.y/n!" Some of the kids said while others stayed silent. Toddlers really are jerks huh?... as you interacted more and more with the cute kids you gained their trust almost instantly, no wonder then weren't scared of sun. I take it back these kids are ANGELS! As you were helping some kids down the slides you saw sun gazing at you, star struck. You stared back and he quickly looked away, blushing of embarrassment. Finally, it was time for the kids to go home. Around 6 pm now. All of them left and then it was only you, sun, and your thoughts.
"Sooo.... y/n?"
"Yes, Sundrop?"
"Do you want to sleep here for the night? You can have my bed?"
"Oh.. sure I guess?.." there's nothing there waiting for me anyways.
"YAY! let me show you my room!"
There was a king sized bed, art supplies, paper, and a lot of stuffed animals. How cute! You noticed the sun and the moon paintings on the wall. In the middle there was a sunset beautified painted on. Before you knew it you jumped on Sundrop bed and noticed how soft it was. It matched his personality perfectly.
"This room is so cute sunny!"
Sunny.. sundrop thought. He blushed.
"HAHAHAH! Yeah!"
As you rolled on the soft bed enjoying yourself sundrop wanted to ask you a question.
"Hey.. y/n? Do you want to see .. the other side of me?.."
"Huh?.. sure I guess. Y/n smiled."
As the lights flickered off y/n saw 2 red glowing eyes staring at her.
