Episode 4: Pizza And Holiday Cheer

Clint exhaled deeply as he taped frozen alcohol pouches to his arms and legs. He leaned back in his chair and placed a pouch on his head. He sighed contently. The intercom buzzed. Clint looked up; the pouch rolling off of his head as he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

Sam and Bucky laughed at his confused expression.

He groaned as he walked towards the buzzer and pressed a button.

"It’s me," Kate's voice spoke, "I come bearing pizza and holiday cheer. Let me in."

"This is going to be good," Peter smiled in anticipation of the scene.

"Mmm," Clint chuckled, pressing another button.

"Awww you like me," Kate teased as Clint shook his head, smiling.

Christmas music started to play as Kate and Pizza Dog stumbled into the apartment. "Come on, Pizza Do… Okay," Kate stuttered, kicking the door closed, "Hey!"

Bucky smiled at the dog.

Kate carried a couple bags, a pizza box and a Christmas tree box in her hands. She wore a red Santa hat.

"I love the hat," Sam smirked at the screen.

"Hey," Clint greeted from the recliner chair.

"That chair looks so comfortable," Clint noted.

"A little help?" Kate struggled as she walked to the couch.

Pizza Dog ran forward and ate a mouthful of snacks out of a bowl.

"Please give him actual dog food," Steve begged as Bucky shook his head in amusement.

"Hey," Clint scolded the Golden, "get outta there."

"This is adorable," Wanda smiled at the scene.

"All right, this is the classic Hawkeye costume we’ve been waitin’ for," Kate dropped her bags on the couch and smiled at Clint.

"What is all this?" Clint asked.

"This is me saving the holidays," Kate grinned, making her way around the couch.

Kate smiled at the scene as Clint chuckled.

"Is that right?"

Kate took off her hat and coat, "I’ll get you home in time for the big day," she sat down, "Figured in the meantime, we could celebrate," she looked in a bag and took out a handful of CD's, "It’s movie marathon night, right? Check this out. I got movies."

Clint looked over at kate and smiled at her warmly, "you're a great kid, you know that?"

Kate smiled and turned back to the screen.

"That’s very thoughtful of you, thanks," Clint smiled sincerely, he looked down at the floor then back at Kate, "But yeah, can we put a pause on that and talk about Sword Boy for a minute?  You got good instincts, kid."

"Sword boy?" Steve laughed, as Tony nodded in appreciation of the nickname.

"What do you mean?"

"So, I did a little digging and turns out, Sloan’s a shell company that launders money for the Tracksuits. And Jack Duquesne is the CEO," Clint announced.

"I just find it incredibly hard to believe," Tony shrugged, eating popcorn.

"You sure?"

"Mmm," Clint nodded, taking a drink out of a mug.

The mug had 'Thanos was right' written on it.
