Chapter 12

I helped Liam prepare things for his date with Francine.

Nakaplano na sa utak niya na sasabihin niya ang nararamdaman niya para kay Francine sa unang date nila. But he doesn't know how to set everything up for it to be a beautiful night for the both of them. And because I'm a "talented" and "creative" person according to him, he needed my help.

"You're gorgeous!" papuri ko nang makita si Liam suot ang puting button down shirt na nakatupi hanggang siko. The two buttons from the collar were undone, too.

A bright smile lifted on his lips. "Thank you."

"Always," tugon ko, ginaya ang tugon niya sa tuwing nagpapasalamat ako sa kaniya. "Here."

Iniabot ko sa kaniya ang bouquet ng fresh flowers. Binili namin iyon kaninang pauwi kami sa pamimili ng mga kinailangan naming materials para sa setup ng date nila.

Nagulat ako nang hilahin niya ako para yakapin. "Salamat talaga, Vivienne Gayle."

Humalakhak ako dahil ito ang unang beses niyang tinawag ako sa unang buong pangalan. "Palagi, Liam Owen."

He chuckled and pulled himself back and gave me one last smile before walking on the romantic aisle we prepared earlier. Sasalubungin niya na si Francine, na pinasundo niya pa kay Tristan.

The efforts we made for the whole day were paid off because everything looks so surreal; like a fairytale comes to life. We chose the flower garden this exclusive village has and turned the plain gazebo into a magical one. We also hired a landscape artist to help us make it wonderful as it is now.

It's a private village naman kaya we don't have to worry about people crowding it. For sure, they will spend a great night together. Iyon ang nakatatak sa isip ko habang nag-aayos sa buong flower garden kung nasaan ang gazebo. The fairy lights and candles make it even more special. The grand piano is on the corner, too.

Ang sabi ko kay Liam ay mag-alay siya ng kanta para kay Francine. 'Yung kantang tuwing naririnig niya ay maaalala niya ang pag-ibig niya. And he will play it after they've finished eating. Pero nag-suggest siya na kung pwede bang ako ang tumugtog no'n at isasayaw niya si Francine. And I agree to that because that was so romantic.

I also like that dancing idea. Slow dancing with someone you really love with romantic music in the background is a great way to spend a beautiful evening. It will be a night to remember indeed.

I giggled and hide with Ate Nory on the corner so that Francine won't see us. I positioned my camera in their direction to capture moments that are surely worth treasuring.

Halos mapanganga ako nang makita si Francine. She looks elegantly beautiful pulling off a beige asymmetrical ruffled midi dress. She let her wavy hair down. Her face is glowy with light makeup but I think looking at Liam makes her vibrant and enchanted.

Liam effect, huh?

I captured pictures of them as Liam handed her the bouquet and guided her towards the table that has been set up with tablecloth and candles, plates, and utensils. Naroon si Ate Terry na kinikilig sa kanilang dalawa. Siya ang magsisilbing waitress. I chuckled at her reaction and tried to zoom in to take a picture of her.

Nang mai-serve na ang pagkain ng dalawa, tinigil ko na ang pagkuha ng mga larawan at pagmamasid. Naupo kami ni Ate Nory sa isang gilid na hindi talaga makikita, binibigyan sila ng private moment.

Aabangan ko na lang ang senyas ni Liam kapag tutugtog na ako mamaya.

That guy is really thoughtful. Kahit na alam kong romantic talaga ang naisip niyang isayaw si Francine habang ako ang tutugtog, nang tinititigan ko ang mga mata niya kanina, iba ang sinasabi ng mga ito. Like he really wanted me to play the piano as often as I could.
