"You are crazy. Gosh, I can't believe you said that, you did THAT." I said through the phone.

I immediately called Beomgyu after he went home and gave him a wonderful scold about what he did earlier. My parents even invited him for dinner. He is insane. I still can't process everything that happened in just one evening.

I'M ENGAGED.

"Ryu, chill out. You told me that I can't make your parents agree with my terrible acting skills. So, I stepped up my game. And ta-da! Worked pretty well. Right?" I heard him chuckle from the other line.

"Dude, I'm engaged. With you!" I groaned in frustration.

"I know right, isn't it amazing?"

I calmed myself down and looked at my hand. I'm still wearing the ring he gave to me from his 'proposal' and I gotta admit, it is beautiful. But I don't think I deserve this..yet? I mean this looks expensive and he gave this to me for a fake engagement thing? He is crazy.

"You became silent all of a sudden. You all right there?"

My thoughts got cut off when Beomgyu spoke from the phone.

I shook my head. "I'm just tired. That's all." I brushed the hair of my face and sighed.

"Then I'll leave you now. See you tomorrow at school." He said.

"Yeah whatever. I'm still not forgiving you for telling my parents I'm the one who confessed my love for you. Which is first, digusting. Second, I don't remember that being part of our conversation. And third, what the hell?" I made hand gestures that I know he won't see anyways.

"Because I know you are the type of person who will confess first." He laughed out as I rolled my eyes.

"Right? Remember that one time when you confessed to-"

"Okay I'm tired. I need to sleep. Bye!" I cut him off and ended the call.

Forgotten memories THAT should remain forgotten. But Beomgyu made me remember it again. He always try to find a way to piss me.

First, this sudden engagement with him. Second, the things he told my parents. And third, this thing.

But whatever, Beomgyu's been like an asshole. He's annoying but he's my bestfriend so I need to deal with him.

I wonder how auntie Choi deal with him everyday. Actually, no wonder why they want him to date that Eunji so finally he can have someone to give attention to. But, yikes.

It's been 2 hours since the parents talk happened but I still wonder how my parents agreed to all of this. They don't know that its just for a show. So...maybe that's why.

I looked at the ring once again and took it off. I walked towards my drawer and placed it down. I shouldn't be wearing this all the time since it probably costs my whole existence.

What idea did pass through that guy's mind and buy an engagement ring that costs a lot?
