Chapter 4: The Knight at the Ball

Unknown P.O.V.

I woke up as my alarm rang throughout the room. 

5:00.

 I usually train early in the morning, so after getting in my workout outfit I leave my room to head into the hotel's gym, And I am surprised that there is already a girl in here, the same one as I saw yesterday training with a...Katana!!! Where did she even get that? I knew the legendarium group for the last three years!; Heck I even work for them as an outsider but how did she get a katana in here...Tt I guess it makes sense and proves my theory that she has some ties with the empress. I completely ignored the fact that she is here and continued my morning workout.

After 2 hours I hear an alarm ring. The girl gathers her stuff and leaves and the katana she had nowhere to be found I can't help but notice the bluebell eyes staring at me for a few seconds before turning around. I go to my room and take a warm bath just as I was about to get dressed. The phone rings. I wore a dress robe and answered my phone. It's my mother, the current heiress of the demon head, Talia al Ghul. "Mother, what is the purpose of your calling?" I asked

"Son I just have to say how proud I am of you remember 6 years ago after Deathstroke's attack you were sent to your father and there he pulled you out of the darkness and you and the others helped me out and now you are finally revealing that you have been helping them as an outsider I wanted to be there but you know I am not allowed..." 

"Yes because you are still running the league of assassins..." 

"And I still do, but at least you will be able to say who will take over the titles'' 

"Yes mother, and thanks again if you would not have pushed me I would not be able to be in this position" 

"Well they were terrible at finding information and spying so I thought why not. Anyways I wish you good luck, so do your father and brothers" 

"Thanks mother, I must leave now" After a talk with my mother, I send information to the legendaria about the latest FBI news about a bomb blast which is going to happen tomorrow, surprising in this area.

It was nearly 8:00 the time when the ball started so I got ready wearing an all-black suit.

When I arrived the Hall was beautifully decorated in pink, yellow, green, blue, black and orange. People started crowding in the hall, my friend Jon and I were as far away as we can stay from those harlots that tried to force themselves on us. Just then the whole room fell silent "Do you think they are here..." he said referring to the legendaria's. Before I could say anything the crowd parted and 5 figures strode down; they had an intimidating and dangerous aura around them but they were not the legendaria's...

Marinette's P.O.V.

~~~~In the morning...~~~~

My workout alarm rang and I quickly shut it down; Over the years I have become a light sleeper. I change and get ready when I look at my alarm. It's 4:30. I go to the hotel gym then make a quick trip to the secret room behind the mirror, pull out a katana and start my training. After a few minutes, another boy comes in. Damian Al Ghul Wayne, Robin of Gotham, and the next heir of the League of Assassins. Well, I do my research you know *Shrugging shoulder* but the legendries do not know about his nightly travels...He seemed surprised about me having a katana. I don't pay attention and continued my training, When I see he is completely not paying attention I slipped back into the hidden room and kept the katana there; after 2 hours I leave the gym but not before making contact with his Acid green eyes then after taking bath; go into Chloe's room and see her awake, "Hey, we are having movie afternoon and the guys are down bringing snacks. You down to it?" She asks, I just nod. After the movie, we start getting ready.

I start with makeup and then my hair then slip on my gown:

I take a sling bag. It has a few weapons and it is mostly there so we will be able to keep our jacket after we are presented with it. I see Chloe wearing :

We all also wear our infinity sign jewelry, to indicate that we are from the same group. All of us are ready. We start making our way towards the hall...As the people see us they instantly quiet down. We make our way down the stairs and everyone starts parting giving us the way. I see Damian with Jonathan or Jon Kent Also known as superboy no wonder he gets all the information to our missions, speaking of which we have one tomorrow with a guy called Prince Knight.

This is going to be one heck of a ball...
