Remember

14 part 2

So I had to split the chapter as it was getting too long

"How can you say I don't love Barry? I'm doing all this for him"

"Meaning?"

"My dad found out, and threatened to kill him if I didn't disown him. So I did it to save him. But don't you dare say I don't love him. I love him more then anything"

Barry froze as he watched this. He dropped his ring

"That was my surprise to you Barry, because I know how much she means to you"

Barry stood up

"Iris"

"It's okay Barry. I know that you are in love with her, and will never love me. I just want you to be happy"

Barry hugged her

"Now, go get her, and never let her go again"

Barry raced to the door

"She's at the church. Her dad is forcing her to get married"

Barry got onto his horse. They sped off, and Barry prayed that he wasn't too late

"Hold on my darling. I'm coming"

Caitlin was walking down the aisle. Her legs felt like dead weight. She didn't want to do this, but this was the only way to keep him safe.  Suddenly the door burst open, and in burst Barry, on his horse. Ronnie grabbed Caitlin as Barry sped towards them. Barry's horse managed to knock Thomas down with his legs. Barry grabbed his gun, and pointed it at him

"Now just stay down. You tried your best to separate us, but you failed. Our love is strong. Now, I'm going to take my bride away from here, whilst you watch. Let's go Caitlin"

Caitlin bit Ronnies arm, to let her go. She ran towards Barry, and quickly got onto the horse. Barry quickly nudged his horse, and it sped away

"Where are we going?"

"You'll see"

The horse stopped near the river that they used to meet at. Barry got down and got Caitlin down too

"Barry" Caitlin wept, as she sunk into his arms

"I can't believe what you were going to do, just to keep me safe"

"Just hold onto me and never let me go again"

Barry rang his parents 

"Just get far away from here. This will be the first place they look for her. Just get far away, and stay safe. Both of you"

Barry hung up

"We've got to move"

They hurried of on the horse, filled with plans for the future. That's when it happened. Neither saw it coming. One minute everything was fine, the next their was a big scream from Caitlin 

Caitlin moaned and groaned in her sleep as everything  was coming back. She was sweating and screaming out in pain. Her doctor rushed to her side, trying to calm her down 

"Caitlin, Caitlin, listen to me. Your in hospital. Try to calm down. I've got you"

"Barry" Caitlin yelled, sitting up

"There's no one here. Try to sleep"

Caitlin lay in her bed and closed her eyes

She found herself in a field. She ran up to the door and pushed it open. She found herself at the same masquerade party

"Barry" she shouted 

"You took your time"

Caitlin ran up to him, and started hitting him in the chest 

"How could you leave me with them, after everything?"

Barry hugged her, as Caitlin broke down in his arms. Her body was shaking as she cried. Barry's heart broke as he couldn't do anything for her

"Why did you leave me Barry?"

"I didn't. They took you and disappeared overnight"

"But why didn't you come looking for me?"

"I had no idea where they took you. Plus, they are your parents. I figured you would be safe with them, until you recovered and remembered me"

"I nearly didn't"

"Why? What happened?"

"They were trying to make me forget you. I almost did, because they said Ronnie was my fiancé"

"What? Why? How did you remember?"

"I didn't remember you, but my body did. I felt sad everyday, but I didn't know why. My body was calling out for you and craving your touch. I just didn't know what it was, but now I know. I understand everything"

Caitlin started crying 

"Barry, they're my parents. Why would they do they do this to me? They know how much I love you and that my happiness lies with you"

Barry hugged her tightly 

"It's ok. I'm here now"

"Are you?"

"Meaning?"

"This is my dream. Where are you really?"

"You know the answer to this Caitlin. All you have to do is remember"

"But can't you tell me?"

"I can't. Because if our love is everything as I believe, you'll find me"

"What if I can't remember?"

"You will. Now it's time for you to wake up. And remember I love you"

Caitlin opened her eyes. Her doctor came in running 

"Caitlin, these night terrors of yours have, I think stopped. You will have to stay in for a couple of days to be monitored. But last night was the first time you didn't have one"

"They were not night terrors doctor"

"What were they then?"

"You were right. Memories"

"Memories?"

"Memories of my past. Of my love. Of Barry"

Duff duff duff. So Caitlin now knows. What's next? As always, feedback appreciated
