"You picked the perfect dress y/n." Pansy said walking out of the store with me holding the bad with both of our dresses in it
"Yeah so did you" I say smiling
(P-Pansy y-y/n)
P- So, why are you going with Theo?
Y- Well he didn't have a date and I-
P- Oh come on that kid could get four dates in three seconds.
Y- Well-
P- I meant.. why aren't you going with Matteo? You guys clearly like each other
Y- Well- um- I don't know!! We- I-
P- You alright? It was a simple question
Y- I- NO, IT WASN'T
P- What do you mean I literally just asked you why you weren't going with him
Y- look I'm sorry but I'm just in a bad mood
P- alright it's ok but let's just continue looking for stuff ok?
Y- ok..
*time skip to the day of the Yule ball*
(you and pansy are getting ready)
"Alright I gave Theo his tie and pocket watch so now I just have to finish getting ready" I say to myself
"Why are you so worried?" Pansy said walking up to my bed in her dress
"Im not-
"Your shaking" she says cutting me off and pointing to the
"Oh.. well I just want things to turn out good you know?" I say
"Is that really what this is about?" She says sitting down
No. "Yeah, yeah that's it" I say
"Alright" she says suspiciously "well you should get on your dress because we're leaving soon
"Ok" I say
The reason I'm so nervous is because my mom was always so excited to go dress shopping and stuff with me for my first dance you know.. when she was alive
But now that's she's not it just feels weird...
"Are you ready yet?" Pansy says interrupting my thoughts
"What? Oh yeah I'm just putting on the finishing touches" I say
"Alright I'm done! How do I look?" I say swinging the bathroom door open dramatically
"YOU LOOK AMAZING" Pansy yells
"Thank youuu so do you!!" I say back
"Thank you!! Ok let's go now" she says grabbing my hand and yanking me out of the room and through the hallways to the great hall
