Guy stared at the bowl of sloppy porridge that was pushed towards him before grunting in response to the guard who had delivered it.
"You expect me to eat that, do you?" Guy declared, "I'm not touching that, take it away."
Vaisey appeared out of the shadows. "What's the matter Gisborne, service not to your liking, would you prefer me to get a pretty maid to bring you your food?" He approached the door of Guy's cell and then smirked at him.
"Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, Sir Guy is obviously not happy with his accommodation or with his breakfast, perhaps you will join me for breakfast instead?"
Guy smirked in response, if he got out of the dungeon he might overpower the guards but he knew Vaisey was playing games with him and was planning his death and expected an arrow would hit him if he tried to escape.
"Whatever my Lord wishes, I am here to serve you as I have always done" Guy replied sweetly.
"Now now, Gisborne, you have served me well but I need to make sure you will continue to serve me well and that you are supporting the right side in my battle against Hood."
"Of course, my Lord" Guy announced, "In fact my Lord, I had been hoping to find out where Hood's hideout is. I am sure he has been to see my wife at Locksley Manor and I planned to have my stable lad follow him back next time he visits."
"Really Gisborne, that is a genius idea, of course he and his band of outlaws will have to be hung in front of your disloyal wife too."
"Whatever my Lord wishes" Guy lied. There was no way he would allow Robin or any of his crew to be harmed if he could help it, but then the hideout would not be found as Tom would be captured following Robin, well that's what Guy would tell Vaisey anyhow as Tom would never follow Robin back from Locksley. Robin would not come to Locksley until Vaisey was long gone and he was able to claim back his land from Guy.
"Shall we have breakfast Gisborne? Guards let him out, there is no need for my Master at Arms to be treated this way"

Robin had followed Vaisey into the dungeons and had been waiting for Allan to return with John and Will when he had heard the conversation between Vasey and Gisborne unfold. Initially Robin had been angry. Gisborne really wasn't to be trusted, he was going to have all of them hanged. The others had arrived at that point and John had been determined to go in and kill both Gisborne and Vasey but then Robin remembered an early conversation he had had with Guy. If Guy had ever thought that Vasey was onto him, Guy would tell Vaisey he was planning to send his stable lad to follow Robin from a visit to Locksley to see Marian. Robin had quickly calmed John and the others and told them it was Guy's way of buying himself time. John and Allan had still been very dubious but Robin managed to talk them round just as he heard the cell door opening to release Guy. He quickly ushered his men back up the stairs and sent Allan and John back out to join Much and Djaq as he and Will hid. Robin needed to find out what was going on and he needed to find out quickly, as he still didn't know what Vasey had planned for Gisborne, releasing him from the dungeon could all be a bluff on his part, his death may already be planned.
