The tightly bound ropes around my wrists and ankles were cut. I was roughly tossed into what could only be described as a room and a metal door slammed shut behind me. It was dusty, and dingy and I had no idea what on Earth was happening.
"You can't just kidnap me! People will be looking for me! The police will catch you!" I screamed as I rushed to the door.
"Arf arf!" I hadn't noticed them slip Mochi in here, but I was glad they did. I quickly picked him up and cuddled him.
"Are you ok my little baby?" I checked him over to make sure he wasn't hurt, but he seemed fine. I began examining the small room. There was a bed on one side, and a toilet on the other. The weird thing was, I wasn't even sure how we had gotten here.
"Help!" I threw myself at the door and began rattling it as hard as I could. It didn't budge. I pulled and pushed at it until I was totally worn out. I collapsed onto the floor and peered into the darkness. This whole place was made out of wood. But it looked like someone had carved out part of a tree.
"Keep it down human scum. Unless you want to be gagged and bound in your cell!" One of the elves practically spat at me.
"Why are you keeping me here?" I demanded. "This is kidnap." The elf laughed mockingly at me.
"Kidnap? Don't speak to us of kidnap. You were trespassing, and have been taken prisoner. That is not kidnap." He carried on laughing as he walked away. I glared after him and began looking for a way out. I had to escape.
The world outside of the small holding cell was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Butterflies of all colours and sizes drifted through the still air, effortlessly as the first light of day began to break. The sun seemed to glitter more brightly here than I had ever seen it before.
The branches of the trees littered across the land had been delicately tended to as they grew, and the mighty trunks twisted upwards to the heavens. The sun glistened off of the river, and the water looked like liquid diamonds. It shimmered as it gently drifted by. Everything around me felt... Magical.
"The King has requested the presence of the human scum." I heard one of the guards say to another. I backed away from the door, and shrunk back into the darkened cell. I picked up Mochi protectively as I tried to hide in the safety of the shadows.
A party of them arrived in front of my cell. They were led by the deep voiced one. He had more interesting features than the rest of them. Although none of them were ordinary by any standards.
His long blonde hair was flourished with some small braids. These in turn were adorned with feathers and beads, that seemed to frame his V shaped jaw perfectly. His plump pink lips were perfectly proportioned to his straight thin nose. Then there were his freckles. They adorned his face like stars scattered across the universe and made an already outstandingly beautiful face, exquisite.
"Step out." His voice was not as deep as before, but it was still commanding and dominant. I forced my legs to take one step after another until I was out of the cell. They party surrounded me, and I was shoved forward roughly. I began walking, and kept my gaze on the floor. The wooden trunk we traipsed across was worn, and smooth from years of feet, beating their stories into the thick trunk.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked apprehensively.
"Do not speak unless you're spoken to. It won't serve you well here human." The deep voiced elf spoke. He looked over his shoulder and shot me a look of pure displeasure. His chocolate brown eyes lacked emotion as he narrowed them at me. His plump pink lips pursed slightly. He focused his gaze forward once more and I couldn't help feeling like I was some sort of vermin. A rat who had snuck into their home, and who was now causing chaos.
