You say bad words meant to hurt,
You know it will hurt and say it in a way so curt,

After saying those words that you know gonna hurt,
You pretend and say you never meant to hurt,

It's funny how people would give excuses,
Like saying I never meant to hurt, I only wanted the best for the person I cared about.

It's funny how they believe the one they are close has feelings while the other doesn't.

Then after hurting you gave an apology,
An apology that's as empty as your head.

And when that person told you about their feelings,
What did you say?
Chill, I never meant to hurt you
Seriously Like WOW?
Weren't you the one who gave reasons why you meant those words?

Like I said earlier,
I'll say it again,
Don't hurt someone if you can't mend them.
Don't speak for one's emotions if you can't understand other's emotions,

Predict and perceive things for yourself,
Not for others' feelings,
'Coz you have no rights to hurt others based on how you predicted things,

Because in the end, You don't know how they feel,
Unless you get to live your life in their shoes.

Let's put some magic in it and let me tell something about Cinderella's story,
In the entire town, there were no feet found that perfectly fits those glass shoes,
Do you know why?
Because it's hard to put yourself in someone else's shoes,
Especially when you know nothing about that person.

The entire town only saw her as a girl with a beautiful gown who looked like she's living the perfect life,
But in the end, we all know the truth about that girl who appeared in a beautiful gown.

In the end, your words sometimes not only ends up crushing someone's heart,
But it also ends up going under the skin sometimes 1 to 2 inches deep,

And that's why If you can't be good to someone,
Let's not be bad to someone.
