Y/n pov:

I kissed the top of Xiao's head as he kept sleeping next to the sakura tree.

Aether didn't bother to wake him up, but walked past me with a lot of Liyue and Inazuma decorations.

I looked at him in confusion.

"Aether, what are you-" i was about to ask what he was doing but stopped when i saw.

He placed a few lanterns from Liyue and Inazuma in the branches of the tree.
He also put down a few mortal dishes infront of it on top of a small rock.

Lastly, he put down flowers and the tree ended up looking beautiful.

I took a closer look at the lanterns and realized some of them were from lantern rite.

"Oh... that's right, lantern rite is almost here." I said to myself.

I looked at the sleeping Xiao.
I wonder if he wants to go see the lanterns this year.

It's been a few while since he wanted to see the lanterns with me.

Aether walked towards Xiao and waked him up.

"Traveler, why have you bothered me?" Xiao asked.

"I have something. Something you might want." Aether said.

Out of interest i walked to them and looked at what Aether had in his hands.

My eyes widened, and so did Xiao's.

Back to the present:

Y/n pov:

I walked back to the Inn.

I looked up and saw the big building on the tree.

I just need to wait for him to come back.

I had prepared myself for what i would tell him.
The truth.

I slowly started walking up the steps.

Kazuha pov:

I sat on the said of the ship.

I felt guilty.

I let Y/n leave while she thought it was her fault.

I knew the adeptus had a temper and wouldn't be quite pleased to hear that 'she kissed me'.

My head fell to my knees.

I'm doing something horrible.
