Jungkook gently carries the omega and places him on the bed

"Jiminah... my baby... before anything can happen between us I need to tell you something..."

"What's wrong? Why are you suddenly so nervous?" Jimin frowns

"I have to tell you about our past.. I don't know if you will leave me or not after knowing..."

Jungkook chuckles at Jimin's restlessness "....But you need to know something..." the alpha sighs as he lies down flat on the bed, staring at the ceiling as he tells the story about how he made Yoongi get Jimin's dad into a fake investment scheme, Jimin was lost staring at the man's lips and features. The omega wasn't paying attention to what the man was saying "... and to imagine it all happened because you first saved me from my bullies due to a nail polish"

Just as Jimin readies himself to go to the washroom, Jungkook's phone dings with a pop up message

"Jungkook you have a ..." Jimin's voice stills when he sees the message from Yoongi

"Baby you were saying..." Jungkook stops talking when he sees tears in Jimin's eyes while holding his phone

"Then what is this all about?" Jimin shoves the phone in Jungkook's face

"Baby..." Jungkook gets out a chuckle "...it's about what I told you yesterday... about how I made Yoongi hyung convince your dad about the fake investment..."

"What the fck did you say?!" Jimin's eyes darkened as Jungkook looked at him confused

"Baby... I told you about this yesterday..."

"Remind me again!" Jimin exclaims making Jungkook frown but he repeats what he told the omega yesterday

"Baby say something" the alpha is anxious seeing Jimin so quiet

"What should I say? I don't know what to feel ... I gave myself to a man I thought loved me and would protect me..."

"I do..."

"....But the same man got me into a relationship on false pretends ... do you think that is fair?" Jimin questions

".... I wasn't given a choice... I was forced to marry you!..."

"Babe! I didn't and couldn't ask you out .... your dad denied the proposal my parents brought because I am from the Jeon family and he thought you won't be able to adjust with me and my family traditions... I did... I tried to marry you in a normal way but I couldn't so I resorted to this ... I didn't do anything to intentionally harm you... but you were mine... mine from when I was 5..."

Jimin shakes his head

"I need time..."

"I don't trust him dad" Jimin cries as he sat next to his dad at his house

"I know he did that ... an elaborate plan to make you his... but other than that... is there anything he did that bothers you?" His dad asks after a while of silence

"No... but don't you get it... he started our relationship on a lie... how can I trust him again?"

Mr Park sighs "... trust your heart. Give him a chance. I will never force you. But just so you know.. he had been helping you from school days..." Jimin frowns "...the missed deadlines and enrollment dates... he has helped you by asking the teachers to grant you a favor.. and he asked nothing in return for a long time...." Mr park sighs "... the only reason why he "deceived" us is because I refused and threatened to marry you to someone else... his rival company's son... they were interested in you... and I thought he was from a good family... Jungkook tried to tell me that they weren't good, that they were only after your beauty and my money... and I saw that was true when they came to know I was going bankrupt, they just broke the proposal....." Mr Park sighs again ".... his methods might not be right... but his heart was always in the right place... besides you let him mark you after he told the truth... you can't really fault him for your hormones and lack of paying attention to his words..."

Jimin knew his dad was right. Even if Jungkook did marry him on false pretends, the man did tell him the truth before he took him completely. It was his fault for not listening to the alpha at that moment

Jimin goes back home, only to find Jungkook sitting on the couch, his face buried into his palms

The alpha immediately looks up when he senses Jimin's presence. Jimin felt guilty for Jungkook's blood shot eyes

Before Jimin can get a word in, Jungkook speaks as he steps closer to the omega

"Tell me what I should do for you to trust me again... do you want us to divorce and for me to court you? I will do that... anything to make you believe that I never lied about loving you... I'm sorry... I'm so damn sorry for not telling you the entire truth before marriage but believe me when I say I didn't think it mattered as long as my love was enough... I'm sorry for being selfish... .." Jimin shakes his head trying to get a word in but the alpha keeps talking "...I'm sorry for making you think like you can't trust me... I'm sorry for making you think this is a marriage of convenience when it is not .... all I did was genuinely love you....."

Jimin covers Jungkook's lips with his tiny hands, smiling slightly as he gazed at the alpha with love

"I love you too... I trust you... and I'm sorry for not trying to understand you more... I'm sorry for not listening the first time when you told me the truth... I'm sorry for making you the villain... I was just upset to learn the truth the day after we mated... I felt like a victim when I shouldn't have.... I kept blaming you for everything when I should be thanking you for saving me so many times..."

Jungkook just stared at the boy, tears pooling in his eyes

"...Let's not divorce but let's date and get to know each other properly and make our marriage work this time... no more hiding secrets... let's be open about everything that matters..." Jimin says making Jungkook nod his head

"I love you so much my omega ..thanking you for giving me a chance.."

"I love you too my alpha....and I promise I will listen to everything you have to say.."
