Chapter 43: Another Dream

Third Person POV 

Ruby: So how long until we get there? 
She asked as Yang sighs. 

Yang: You just asked 5 minutes ago Ruby. 
She said as Ruby pouts. 

Ruby: I just want to know how long till we get there! 

Yang: Come on Ruby, didn't we tell you that this place is about 4 hours away from Vale. 
She said as she continued drive down the road. 

Ruby: And it shouldn't take us this long!
She yelled at her before feeling her hand on her mouth. 

Yang: No yelling. Don't want to wake up the two cuties. 
She said as she looked at the mirror, showing Blake cuddling with Y/N as she laid her head his shoulder. 

Ruby: So what are we going to do when we get there? 
She asked as she laid her feet on the dashboard. 

Yang: Obviously we have to carry our stuff out of the car. 

Ruby: What about food?

Yang: Obviously we are going to cook just like dad taught us. 
She said as Ruby pouts. 

Ruby: But I don't like cooking that food. 

Yang: Ruby, you have to eat something other than cookies. 
She said as Ruby glared at her. 

Ruby: You just sound like sad. 
She hissed as Yang giggles. 

Yang: I could make Y/N eat all your cookies. 
She giggles as Ruby glared at her more. 

Ruby: Yang... 
She growls as Yang giggles. 

Yang: Alright. Alright. Calm down. We should be there in about 30 minutes. 

Y/N's POV 

Dream 

I felt a cold breeze flow through my hair as I slowly opened my eyes, seeing that I was standing in a green and grassy area. 

"Where am I?" 
I thought to myself as I looked around. 

???: It was because of you. 
I heard a distant voice as I continued to look around. 

"Hello?" 
I called out as I looked around in confusion. 

???: It was because of you. 
The voice repeated as I turned around to see the same woman stand in front of a grave. 

"S-Sarah." 
I said as I looked at the woman, seeing her hold onto a man's arm as she sobs loudly in front of the grave. 

"I'm  sorry." 
I said as I looked away before feeling a hand around my throat once more, seeing her angry eyes glare into mine as she pushed me onto the ground. 

???: It was your fault! 
She screamed at me as she tightened her grip. 

???: Why isn't my daughter here huh! You're the team leader! Why are you here and she isn't! 
She continued to scream at me as I looked away. 

"I should have died that day but I am still here. I would gladly trade places for any of them. It's the leader's responsibility to make sure his team is safe." 
I told her as I slowly looked away, unable to look at her as I felt her tears soak into my shirt. 

"No matter how hard I try, it won't bring them back home." 
I told her as I felt the tears slowly building up. 

"If it matters to you, I would gladly have died knowing that Sarah would have escaped." 

Dream Ends 

Third Person POV 

Blake: Y/N, wake up. 
she says softly as she shook him. 

Y/N: A-Are we there? 
He asked, yawning as he looked at her, a tear slowly running down his cheek. 

Blake: Are you okay baby? 
She asked as she wiped his tear away. 

Y/N: Y-Yeah, I'm okay. 
He said as he slowly opened the door, revealing the beach house. 

Y/N: Whoa. 
He said as he looked at the house with awe. 

Ruby: Finally! I'm hungry! 
She yells as she rushes into the house while Y/N turned to look at Yang and Coco. 

Y/N: So what are we going to do now since we're here? 
He asked as he looked at the two older girls. 

Coco: Obviously, we're going to have a lot of fun. Don't you think Yang? 
She asked as Yang nods. 

Yang: Yeah. Blake, why don't you help out Y/N and put his stuff into his room. 
She said as Velvet stepped out of the car with her other teammates. 

Velvet: My ears hurt. 
She whimpers as she rubbed her ears. 

Coco: Sorry about that bun-bun. 
She said as Velvet glared at her. 

Velvet: You were blasting music the entire time we drove here. 
She pouts. 

Coco: I'm sorry bun-bun. I'll make it up to you. 
She purrs into her ear as she points to Y/N. 

Velvet: Coco...

Coco: What... 

Velvet: Never mind. I'm just going to go set up in my room. 
She said as Y/N walked into a room, seeing two beds, each at a corner as light shone through the window. 

Y/N: Not bad.
He said before laying down. 

Y/N: Comfy. 
He thought to himself as Blake walked into the room. 

Blake: Going to bed already? 
She asked before laying with him. 

Y/N: Even better with you here. 
He said as Blake giggles, laying her head on his chest as she listened to his heart beat. 

Blake: Love you baby. 

Y/N: I love you too Blake. 

To Yang 

Yang: Alright Ruby, you get the top bunk. 
She said as Ruby pouts. 

Ruby: I want the bottom bunk. 
She whines. 

Yang: No, you're not sneaking up in the middle of the night to steal all the cookies. 
She said as Ruby pouts. 

Ruby: Fine. 
She said before climbing onto the stop bunk while Yang lays on her bed. 

Yang: Tomorrow, we're going to have a lot of fun. 

Weiss: Like with what? 
She asked as she stumbled into the room with a suitcase. 

Yang: Oh you know. Shopping, going to the beach, and just a lot of fun.
