Suga walked reluctantly towards the bedroom thinking that Chaeyoung would be there but she was nowhere to be found. He thought it's unusual for her to stay out at that late hour but he shrugged it off the thought and took his clothes and left the room. Thre hours passed and it was now 1 am but there was no sign of Chaeyoung which made him worry a lot. He picked up his phone and dialled her numbered to be answered by an unfamiliar voice.

"who is this?" Suga asked.

"it's Nayeon" Nayeon said "Chaeyoung came to the dorm and fell asleep so we didn't want to wake her up"

"oh! is that so" Suga felt relieved.

"Suga-shi!" Nayeon called in a very serious tone "There's a serious matter that I need to tell you about. Can we meet now?"

"Now?"

"Yes, now" Nayeon insisted "I want to talk to you before Chaeyoung wakes up"

"Is everything alright?" Suga felt worried.

"I told you we should meet" Nayeon said "I'll come to your place now"

The call ended and Suga waited for Nayeon anxiously feeling restless about the news she's going to break.

The twenty minutes felt like eternity for him. He only felt less pressured when he heard the doorbell which made him run to the door.

"Nayeon-shi"  Suga said as he opened the door.

"I'm sorry for coming this late but it can't wait" Nayeon said as she followed him to the living room.

"What's the matter? What's going on with Chaeyoung?" Suga asked worriedly.

"I wasn't going to tell you because I didn't trust you but seeing how worried you were when she was late I thought of telling you the truth"

"What truth" Suga felt his heart sink.

"Chaeyoung is suffering from cystic fibrosis" Nayeon said with a heavy heart "there's no cure other than a lung transplant. I'm sure she wouldn't tell so here I am telling you this"

Suga was thunderstruck. He couldn't neither move or talk. He only looked to his feet as if the solution would be there.

"You care about her, don't you?" Nayeon asked making him snap out of his thoughts.

"Of course I do. She's my wife now"

"Well she doesn't think that way" Nayeon said "she sees you as an enemy which no one can her blame for"

"I know but I really have nothing to do with whatever my father is doing to her" Suga tried to explain "I was dragged into this marriage just like her except that I was happy with it even though I knew how much she hates it"

"You're happy with this marriage" Nayeon was surprised.

"Yes, I've always had an eye on Chaeyoung artistically which is why I wanted to collaborate with her before but the day my father told me I had to marry her I was not burdened at all. I was excited. The only thing that bothered me was that she hates me. Every single word she says to me hurts. She doesn't think twice before throwing me with those harsh words"

Nayeon couldn't help but sympathize with Suga not because Chaeyoung is a bad person but because Suga is in the wrong place which makes Chaeyoung always snap at him, however neither of them can be blamed.

"I totally understand, I know that Chaeyoung isn't that easy going but she's been through enough to trust the son of the person who put her through all of this" Nayeon said.

"Do you even know that if Chaeyoung decides to take actions again, I'll be the one taking the blame. That's my father's plan" Suga said "She needs to understand that I'm as troubled as she is, or maybe worse"

"At least now you know what you have to do" Nayeon smiled then stood up to leave "make her understand"
